Think you can go without a Maddison type player if you have a great front three that can produce on their own. We’re a way off that really.

He's played his part in the MGW escapade which, if genuine, suggests we have been scouting for players in Maddison's position and have the money to buy someone.
Tottenham's need for this type of player has just become more acute.
