I see you totally ignore Billy Nick's judgement which would apply to what you are terming your ''successful' period between 1993 and 2004.

“It's magnificent to be in Europe and this club, a club like Tottenham Hotspur, if we're not in Europe, we're nothing.'

Most people understand their judgement and knowledge of football is nothing to Billy Nick.

But not you. :wall: :wall: :wall:
Billy nick built the club. Totally agree if were not in europe were nothing. Getting into europe is minimum requirement for this club in any competition. Nothing less.

what?

He scored 15 goals in 31 league games last season with 5 assists from a wide position. In the champions league he scored 5 goals in 7 games with an assist.

The season before that he produced as well and the season before that he also produced. He's super consistent.

True but he has been playing for one of the most attack minded managers ever. Atalanta under Gasperini were relentless and a joy to watch

It will be interesting to see how he performs in more normal team

The jury is out on Solanke, we were dreadful last year, our main wide players were Sonny and Brennan, neither gave him much service so let’s see what happens s under Frank.
He never looks like scoring. That's got nothing to do with the wide players. And I'll counter that with BJ scored the bulk of his goals from crosses and scoring at the back post.

He's had one good, goal scoring season in his PL career, it looks like an anomaly. The money spent on him was absolutely absurd and I called it at the time that he's deadwood that'll be impossible to move on in a couple of years.

The difference in the attack, and with our atrocious #10 options aren't giving him a boat load more chances. He is what he is. A handy lump up top, rotation player for a big side. He wouldn't have started for any of the top 12 teams last season.
