We should make a move ASAP for Nick Woltemade, Bayern have officially tapped out after spunking all their jizz on & being ripped off by Varpool for Diaz. Stuttgart want around 60m euros for their star boy, bayern only prepared to pay around 50m plus add ons. Bayern see him as temp cover for muisiala then kanes long term successor.

He would be a great buy as he can play 2 positions AM & CF with good aplomb & will only get better. He can play as a 10 for time being then go on to be a deadly CF... his stats are impressive for his age (23) also see him compared with Isak for the last year.... Allows us to get him now without having to get richy out immediately (which seems an issue), cover no. 10 till nov when kulu is expected back

But it is not about one outstanding attribute. Did you watch the games we played against them? He was two heads above ANYONE we had in the midfield. Never had that kind of feeling with likes of Wharton.

Saying that Palhinha was/is just someone who kicks some shins is beyond ignorant and makes me very seriously question any knowledge on football. He has always been quite assured in possession. Yea, in terms of distribution, he ain't no Pirlo. But very few are all that in one.

COMPETITIVENESS WASN'T WEAKNESS? What the fuck am I reading really?!? My grandma could have walked through our midfield in last season. It was THE BIGGEST weakness of our midfield ffs. We had no one who would have kept focus throughout the game and actually FIGHT there. Either by tackling, closing down passing routes or anything.

Aghppphehhehee. I'll just give up. I feel I've read enough of utter by now. I feel that most people are totally brainwashed that only Pirloesque passing ability is mark of half-adequate midfielder. And everything else is totally pointless and useless. Like for example Wanyama addition would have done nothing at all to our squad then. Let it be then. Let the actual football show who is right and who is wrong. And I am 100% sure - if Bayern buy Wharton now (who everyone are jizzing over) and we would be linked to loan-to-buy him, everyone would come out with theories how shit he is and always has had. Cause his last season AND price-tag are 100% of what matters.

P.S regarding PEH - well... actually the fact of being better than Winks-Sissoko was what was needed at this point. This was his competition and he overplayed them all. Marginal improvements is name of the game. Yea, you can wait for chance to sign perfect player for low fee for 5 years and do nothing meanwhile. Or you can improve on what you have and then keep improving from there. Your call really.
We’ll have to agree to disagree about Paulinha, we value different things from Midfielders and that’s cool. We’ll see how it plays out. I just have a strong sense of dread.

We were bad - due to Ange leaving no margin for error on tactics, players were left on an Island especially on transition - that’s a structural issue, not because players don’t fight enough.

They showed when Ange decided to pack out the midfield and sacrifice his principles in the Europa latter stages, that they were all capable of fighting, scratching and clawing for every ball.

It’s not like a player like Wharton isn’t capable of this either - see the FA Cup final.

I was thinking about Sonny and Ange. Feel like that fat cunt accelerated his physical decline. With a slower decline (a natural one not accelerated by idiotic training and match tactics) Sonny could still be good for 15 goals this season in the PL.

Fucked our other players, too.

Total hogwash

You will see how hard the players will have to train and play for Frank

Modern footballers all have to work their nuts off

Didn’t Paulinha break the record for yellow cards two seasons on the bounce in the prem? 17 or something like that

I'm assuming he'll happily just wait around until next year for when Bayern come back

Probably, but how good will that pplayer actually be is the issue. Likely be a cheap punt so it will still be a net loss.

With regards to me thinking we have gone backwards, I am talking about our transfer business after finishing 17th. Son was past it but he still contributed more goals and assists than Tel or Odobert will.

When I spoke about replacing Son, I meant an upgrade, not a downgrade.

How much do want to bet that RE Son last season vs Tel and Odobert this in the league alone.
