Postecoglou was poor mate. Let's be very clear on that. Out of his depth. The Europa victory was a freaky combination of a few things in my opinion.
We didn't need to spend big this summer, but we needed to plug some obvious weaknesses, and that was before the Maddison injury. Son was deteriorating fast, but what a servant.
Varied views abound at present. With no change to the squad and a poor start, I think we will struggle. We might be harder to beat but I can't see where we get goals, Johnson apart, and that should flash red lights.
No team will fear playing us. Many may well relish it.

You can have your opinion on Ange but he finished 5th and won a trophy in 2 seasons
Frank will do very very well to achieve half of that and he’s a miracle worker if he wins another trophy in the next 2 seasons
Joking aside, that is where we're at depth wise in the CL. We can only register 21 players + Austin and you name a 23 man squad for matchdays so there will be 1 spot for a List B academy player and we've loaned out all the players closest to being ready for men's football. 16 year-olds like Williams-Barnett, Byfield is where we're at now as a CL option on the bench.
Levy's plan is clearly to finish say 8th to tell us "hey we've progressed big time, another season or two and we'll be at the top."
That way he gets to ask for more patience & underspend again.
And you know exactly who'd buy that and sing his praises, saying this current mare of a window worked a treat etc.
