People never learn. How many 17-year-olds can beat up a 27-year-old of similar size? His body was still growing and filling out last year, plus he had a nasty illness by all accounts.
I also think last season was disastrous for perceptions of how players and agents see us as a club. Yes, United has managed to get players to sign for big wages, but of course we’ll never do that.

I feel bad for keeping Romero now. Waisting a good year of his career. Atleast VDV is young and is still learning. But Romero deserves to be competing every year, he was so good for us in the Europa League final last year. I don't blame him for running down his contract now and going for cheap next summer. We've given him no alternative.
