Hardly. City can do better and can be patient. Doku does the stuff he does but better so they’re happy to re-shuffle.
For us he makes reasonable sense.

I don’t think he’ll ever be top, top tier and if city want to let him go I imagine they don’t think so either, but he could definitely be a very exciting player who suits what our fans want to see.

You get the best players you can and then figure it out.
Yeah his end product was genuinely non sensically poor last year, I suppose he did get into the right positions and has good underlying metrics but in a City team it’s hard to say how it’ll translate.
Obviously with Foden Marmoush Doku Bobb etc minutes will be hard to find and I bet City have their eyes on Rodrigo, so it makes some sense to sell him. They only paid £35m from their sister club so could bank some instant profit from this.
At the very least he’d be a real face to put on the stadium and someone who can at least attempt to recreate Son’s direct threat on the wing. Which I appreciate. Still only 21 as well, younger than McAtee and Elliott shockingly.
