I genuinely don’t know why I logon to this forum during summer. I swear to god the players who we are linked to versus who we actually sign are completely different. If it goes 3 days after first link and we haven’t signed them yet, you can basically forget it. It’s not happening.
I’m also starting to feel this club is the but of a long standing joke. Anytime a player wants a move or to sign a new contract; get the agent to link them to Spurs. The number of players we get linked to every summer seems significantly more inflated than any other club

With Romero & VDV it will be difficult for any CB to get a starting place and therefore we will only get someone who is prepared to play second fiddle until Romero leaves.
Hope I'm wrong but I think it's the former .

One of Savinho or Eze in this window would go a long way to restoring some of that attacking threat we've lacked in recent years.

Indykaila is just another wannabe itk bullshit merchant, so he's just tweeting out the most likely situation but dressing it up as "news" from a "source".
Its exactly what I said the whole Eze deal was a couple of pages back and I have no sources at all. Maybe I should be an ITK.

Could leave. This is us in a nutshell, every single transfer window, whether that be buying or selling.
No expectation this season from me, but I hope we get 2 or 3 players before the window closes. We are short in all areas of the park, and it won't be too long inyo the season before that becomes only too obvious.
Nothing about us screams competence or inspires confidence. Not even sure how that is possible.
I am hoping Frank changes that over-time. He has a real challenge in front of him, so patience, coupled with progress is essential.

We are lead to believe Woolwich have been in talks with Eze this summer.
His agent would be sacked for gross misconduct should we get in touch with Eze and the agent NOT tell other interested parties its happening.
This would have happened the second we made an approach.
Yesterday the narrative was Woolwich werent in the position to move because they needed to make sales first - its inferred even by that they knew.
For us to take it to Palace (allegedly in talks) itll be because the player is happy with the move.
Of course we can be gazumped, its happened in the past, but at this point the whole "and the agent told Woolwich..." 'news' today is just empty and old
In no way would I swap VDV for Guehi
VDV adds something unique and extremely valuable to our defense with his spectacular pace and he's also better than Guehi with the ball at his feet. Romero + VDV is better and way more balanced than Romero + Guehi.
I'm not sure it's about getting gazumped, I'm pretty certain that his agent is only meeting us (and leaking it so all the legit news sources like sky and the BBC run with it) so it puts pressure on Woolwich to get a move on.
Maybe I'm wrong but I just feel we're nothing more than a pawn in a game between Ezes agent and the goons.
And as for Indykaila he's still just a bullshit merchant.
