Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Despite some understandable enthusiasm, tinged I feel with a bit of relief, from yesterday's win, much of that joy will evaporate if we don't secure one or both of Savinho or Eze.

And after all the noise, and the Gibbs-White nonsense, it would be a fatal blow for Levy in my opinion.

My view, having seen today's United/Woolwich match is that we will need both aforementioned players (or similar), and a bit more, just to be competitive.

A lot of the joy of this weekend could easily disappear by this time next week,i if we succumb as is likely to City, and also without the additions we have been hoping for.

My mindset on both eze and savinho is 50/50. City can reject any bid. If we bid 100m and savinho wanted to stay they would reject it. Small change for them. If true, brazil agents flew in i think we proposed deal to them who will then speak to player about it. Could be a new contract or if he tells pep he wants out then he will join us. Eze will join imo. Palace may keep him until they get in group stage of europe. All ifs and buts.

My feel is that both Palace and City are willing to sell said players. I don't think Woolwich are looking at Eze as a profile of player that fits their need, and then I don't see anyone else going for him. Savinho may have more suitors but I could easily see Pep wanting Rodrygo over Savinho. I'm not sure Pep wanted Julian Alvarez to leave but he may be able to get something similar in Rodrygo

My gut feeling says Eze is ours but I'm not getting emotionally attached to any rumour. If we don't sign anyone else before the window shuts I'll join the melting pot

Well.... That's him changed his mind and decided to stay for the love of the fans then......

And it's worth mentioning that Morgan Gibbs White did exactly the same thing before signing a new contract.

:avbshit:
If anyone m anymore players we're tracking sign new contracts, we should charge commission.
Did the deals collapse?
No
Yes

Why are they looking for Eze replacements then?

Seems pretty obvious that he’d be our player if we paid the RC but waited, got a better price but in exchange agreed that we’d wait until they sign a replacement.

Palace don’t think they get that done before Thursday so expect him to play again.

But it will get done before the end of the window. In the meantime, the clickbaiters will cook up all kinds of manipulation to get Spurs and Palace fans on hooks.
