66m pounds is mad money for Savinho. He has huge potential but he's nowhere near world class levels yet. He currently can't start for City or Brazil and scored 1 goal in 29 appearances last season. I'm shocked we haven't walked away tbh. Our first offer was 45m and I'd imagine it took alot for Levy to agree to bid again for around 55-60m.

Unreal if we sign him. I hope we do! Its not my money. But 66m for a prospect - its a gamble that I can't see spurs taking.
Solanke wasn't world class when we paid 65m for him.

65m doesn't get you world class.

Look what Liverpool paid for Wirtz and will have to pay for Isak.

Just like Mike Duff was when i signed him for us from Cheltenham in the 97/98 version.

First thing i always did when i took charge of us, was trying to sell Dean Austin and Justin Edinburgh(RIP)

It was an Mission Impossible. We couldn't get rid of the dross even on a fucking computer game, just like now.
Tommy Svindal Larsen was a beast in 97/98 version. You could get him for 200k along with Marc Emmers on a free and it transformed the midfield

If Man City will not sell Saviola until they get Rodrygo and Madrid will not sell Rodrygo to City ........ then Spurs do not get Saviola
I think you're missing the glaring error in that mAIde up "report"!

Manchester City want Rodrygo but will only try if Savinho goes to Tottenham — and that move is still not advancing, blocked by #MCFC hierarchy as of now.

That's some messed up schizophrenia right there!!

They’re taking the piss! Screw ‘em! Move on!

I’m probably in the minority here but as long as Eze gets done, I’m fine if we don’t move on from Savinho and just leave the forwards alone if we can’t get him.

I’m ok with an overpay on Savinho if they’ve decided that he’s the player they really need. They’ve chewed the data and video to decide he’s the Son replacement. If they can’t get him, I’d prefer they wait and spend a while deciding to chase him again or take their time to find the next target.

If we sign another forward player after Eze, it needs to be a player they are certain takes us up a level, not just next on the list

Cheeky bid for Haaland?
Nah, we can't pay his wages!

AND he has a man bun

If I've learnt anything about these high stakes bankers and boardroom people, it's that they have very long memories if they've been shafted over previously. And they will go down to the depths of pettiness to get even or one over on someone.

This is certainly city board member getting revenge on Levy for moving the goalposts regarding Kane.

The irony is that this little boardroom spat is preventing both clubs from moving forward on the football side.

City hold the cards though, they won't accept less than 70. Levy will have to swallow his pride and either pay up or move on in this deal. City know we are desperate for players but that shows how stupid our lack of transfer planning is every window.
