I would normally agree but this isn't a thin squad and we know first hand how hard the Thursday/Sunday run is. Winning the competition is worth 15m... there is a real possibility that they will struggle with games coming thick and fast. I get it, they might not see Europe again but would those fans take a relegation battle which could lead to relegation in return for going deep in this competition. It doesn't make any sense commercially for them to be travelling all over Europe to some god forsaken hell holes, even if they are one of the fancied teams. This isn't Chelsea who could field 2 squads. If they take it seriously I can see a relegation battle incoming.
