Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Levy & Lange should go for Wissa/Akilouche or splash money on Savio along one of the two.

Levy says ambitious words but this window has clearly shown his actions dont coincide with that, neither is this the first window that this has happened in.

That dream day of MGW + Kudus on the same day is a long distanced memory now.
Why on earth do we want Wissa? He's a average striker that just had his one good season. We went through this last season with Solanke.

By all accounts, Spurs had their pants pulled down here. Eze and his agent used Spurs to negotiate the package and then informed Woolwich to match it. It was Woolwich all along and Spurs now look like absolute mugs, especially after the MGW fiasco.

Terrible situation for Spurs. Need home grown players and will now likely overpay for yet another mid level talent. Morgan Rogers or Harvey Elliot anyone?

No clubs want to deal with Spurs. And 1 man is responsible for that.

Its commonly reported that we offered £60m for MGW. One could only assume that Levy was haggling over the Eze price so we could bid for two players, reportedly Eze and Savio.
So......there's absolutely no excuse for not going all in on Savio now.
Getting Kudus and Savio (or better) is the only thing that can stop this window being a complete train wreck. Although even by Levy's standards it's been a shit show.

I think we all know how this will play out now though, we'll buy Dibling, Woolwich will win the league and Eze will be player of the season.

Not many decent midfielders available that can fill our needs. El Khannous, Elliot, Aberlouchie, Paz, McTominay. Not sure that any of them are good enough to improve us too much to be honest. Maybe we just stick with Sarr and Bergvall for now.

  • BEK isn't ready
  • Elliot is a dickhead (and probably not good enough)
  • Akliouche looks a right winger that maybe can play 10 but probably isn't ready
  • Paz is 20 and has one decent season to his name
  • McTominay is an 8

Unless you can bring in Morgan Rogers I'm not sure we can get anyone what will be a significant upgrade compared to Sarr/Bergvall

At this point I'd take any position that goes straight into the starting 11

I'd go all out and try to steal Simons. Chelsea have done a Tottenham and taken far too long to get the deal done.

With that being said, I am 100% sure that Simons will tell us to go and fuck ourselves because it's the Tottenham way.

If he wants to sit on the bench at Chelsea for the next few years, let him do it.
