Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Frank said it best last week

"We only want players that want to play for Spurs"

That sum's Spurs up perfectly. Nobody wants to play for Spurs unless

a) It's a stepping stone to a big club or
b) They have accepted they aren't good enough to play for a big club or
c) Spurs offer far higher wages than any other club, and its too good to turn down

I would sign Hincapie.

I don't trust Van De Ven and Udogie to stay fit.

We can revisit the number 10 position next Summer.

Savinho, Hincapie and grind it out until Kulusevski returns by sticking Odobert in the 10 role in a rotation type of way I'd be absolutely fine with. Ideally El Khannouss and just see how the kid gets on at a big club whilst our need is there.

My issue is and always has been outs. How do we find it so difficult to shift players no longer required? Unbelievable how it happens each summer.

Signing El Khannouss just to see how he gets on is why we have such an inflated squad full of sub par players. No feckin thank you.

In my limited experience of watching these players we've been linked with, Paz would be great, but assuming that ain't happening I remember when we played LCFC thinking this El Khannouss was class. I'd be happy to get him in and give it a go with him at the 10 when we'd otherwise play Maddison. Him + Savinho and let's go

All it took was the como-lazio highlights to convince me that Paz is the next KDB.

Too be fair, it seems to have convinced everyone.😂

The guys on here actually watching the game said he was anonymous until the assist. Although that assist was a bit special tbh.

Was the best game I’ve seen him have - but it was a reminder of how young he is. Those expecting someone to run a game will be disappointed. Who knows, he might be that player one day. But we have about 6 players that fit in that category.

Levy's methods are so antiquated.

Really is disastrous the way he continues to piss off the rest of the footballing world.

Frank deserves so much better. It's obvious his coaching IQ is right up there.

FFS Levy back him.

MGW was just the practice on release clauses for Hincapie clearly . Daniel won’t make the same mistake again , this time we will get nowhere near to signing him

My chairman💪💪💪💪

If we do sign him I will not be apologising or building a statue for him doing his fecking job properly

Having been to Lake Como I didn’t want to come back to Islington , Paz will use us to get a salary bump I’m sure . As a small club nothing close to what we would pay him , but enough to enjoy one more season in such a beautiful place . If he thinks he is good enough to force his way back into Real Madrid’s plans fair play to him

If Savinho is the only signing we make, I’d start Kudus in the 10 because that’s where he wants to play anyway. Play Savinho off the right

His ability to bounce off any tackle is like Dembele anyway so would be great in the middle.
