Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Went to the local shop half time in the Newcastle v Liverpool game queue was horrendous , i only wanted a pint of milk took forever to get served . Mind you has been said many times , it’s not like doing a transfer of a premier league footballer .
If it’s anything like my local shop you always have some clown doing their weekly shop in there while people with 1 item wait to pay behind them.

That’s very annoying.

Club already said he's being kept here for now to acclimatize.... Once he's injury free he might get a few cup cameos; but he'll then be out on loan in Jan. (Same strategy as Yang)

If Vusko is hot shit then we should put a little faith in him being able to be a deputy.
Yes pool have that 18 yr old on the bench they just bought. I’d rather see Vusko than Davies play.

Looking at all the teams so far and it is early days if I was frank id be pushing like mad behind the scenes to get those couple of difference makers over the line. The margins will likely be very fine this season.

He tows the party line in the press/media but is he really that satisfied with the squad? With a couple of top players we could really suprise a few especially as with Frank we can compete in big games.

Frustrating as hell

Alot of that is old news.

Savinhos agent is still in the UK though so its not over yet. He posted a picture of his daughter online saying he misses her so he's still in the UK.

New contract or doing the deal.

Im holding out strong on this one.
The previous article that I read said City wanted 80m euros, and this article says we've offered £47.5m which is about 55m euros (I think).

My brother, MGW can only dream of the pass that Paz played last night. So 5x the player is hyperbole.

You are also comparing a 25 year old and 20 year old. Paz will have a better career.

I think if there is one major lesson to learn from the Kudus and Palinha signings is that top level premier league proven players can have a seismic impact and MGW is just that.

Paz is just a relatively unknown kid playing reasonably well in Serie A, I’ve not seen anything from him which tells me he could cut it in the premier league.

But then further down the article it says;

''This leaves Spurs, once again, having to scour the market for an alternative and Monaco standout Maghnes Akliouche is said to be an option.

The 23-year-old grabbed five goals and ten assists in Ligue Un last season, with Football Insider reporter Pete O’Rourke claiming that an ‘offer of £47.5m will be accepted’ in the closing days of this window.''

So maybe the article is mixed up.

I think the 47.5 was price quoted for the French WiFi code guy Akl10uCh3.

The article does seem abit of a mish mash though.

We should just go for it with a huge offer for MGW, he’s 5x the player Paz is and is STILL exactly what we need.

A £70 million bid would get the fat Greek interested.

That bridge...

Someone said Lange is on holiday and that wouldn’t surprise me ffs
If he’s on holiday, it’s a gardening leave.

He somewhat saved the January transfer window by failing to get Timori and pivoting last minute to Danso. Then, his Tel failure had a last minute change of heart and joined up.

This Summer, I’d guess that he’ll need a similar close to the window to save his job.

He was in the Serie A Team of the Season last year and has broken into the Argentina team ahead of guys like Garnacho and Emi Buendia. He ain't unknown anymore.

Top player but the engagement ring he's got from Madrid just makes it impossible.
