Simons would be a massive signing, love watching this kid play as he's gutsy and works hard, versatile and has incredible technical ability. LW/RW or a 10 he has the lot.
Aw bless, look at us still talking about this in the future tense...?
Force of habit, I guess!

Help me out Richard Arlison Richard Arlison

I confess I have not seen much of Simons but when I have seen him in the odd game he has never stood out or struck me as top draw player. Granted, I have probably seen games when he's been below par but I do worry he has had a few clubs now and still only 22. What sort of player is he? Modric, De Bruyne, Kaka, Foden.
I'm struggling to zero in on what puts him ahead of MGW and Eze who for me are players I could see moving the dial for us.
Maybe 'cos MGW & Eze didn't wanna come to Tottenham??

The most similar 10 in the pl would be cunha.

Silky ball carrier, rocket of a shot, audacious skill and driving runs.

Do you mean a left back or left sided centre back? My view is Romero can play there and Danso right side. I think we need another FB/CB but Soence’s form means we absolutely don’t need a LB

Ideally someone who can play both LB/LCB. Romero _can_ play there (because he’s world class) but someone more naturally comfortable there would be preferable. And Spence has overall been fantastic on the left but there are still moments, especially when we’re playing out from the back against the press, where his right-footedness is a hindrance (his first and often only option is to turn inside instead of playing a ball down the line, etc.). So again, think it makes more sense to target a natural left-footer. Seen Ake’s name floated, think he’d do in a pinch.

As exciting as this all is, he could be on the pitch for us & id still worry about Chelsea hijacking him
The only caution we may need is his willingness to up and leave clubs.
Left Barca academy. Left PSG for PSV, dropped them quite quickly for RBL.
What if he does really well at Spurs for a couple of years? Will we have a fight to hold on to him?

Well, it's seems Ange did the right thing to sacrifice trying to finish top 6, and go in all for Europa. Turned Spurs back into a club that means business, and showed the board that Spurs can do better than just 'top 4'.

A rather kind Champions league draw and, no single dominant team in the EPL. I fancy Spurs to win both.

What if this was not just a petty statement from Levy and this is now the aim of the club, the thing is why should this be such a crazy statement, Spurs are a fucking massive Club , look at the trophy parade for the EL, there is no doubt in my mind that we are one of the biggest clubs in Europe and finally it looks like we are going to start acting like it.....
