There does seem to still be legs in the Savinho transfer, hopefully we use taking Akanji or Ake as a bargaining chip to take Sav as well. Without doubt he would improve us. I still think a Grealish loan would have been a decent idea. But without that a proper LW that will take people on is essential. Maybe Tel centrally is an option as that seems to be his preferred position certainly while Dom’s injured and swap him for Richy for a bit. I’d like to see Tel as striker and see what he can do.
That should always be what we aspire to. That calibre of player excited me every time they got on the ball.
Simons will be a player we will enjoy and Kudus once he gets better players with him will too. We shouldn’t accept poor players and try elevate them to something they are not even though we watch them every week and get raging and frustrated with them.
I’ll not name them because I’m fed up having the argument about them but this club accepts mediocrity far too much from the fans to the board. We will never be the big club we want to be until this weak mindset changes from top to bottom.
Grealish would have been miles better than Tel, Odobert, Johnson. Savinho would be better than all of them too.

Well it was well reported we wanted savinho and eze at the time. We managed to get simons for cheaper than eze would have been so there's got to be money there still to be spent.
Options are as follows.....
Pickup the phone to Bournemouth and place a bid of 70m for semenyo. There a decent club and as with solanke if we cough up they would sell.
Get onto city and offer them 70m for savinho. Im not sure what the last bid from us actually was tbh.
Try our luck with a 70m bid for Rogers with a player or 2 the other way on loan?
Do a deal with atalanta for lookman, he will be leaving and the price is OK for a soon to be 28 year old.
If all fails than kang from psg is an option.
Can't think of many more unless we try a deal with Milan for leao.
