But not replaced Son properly, cover in defence is minimal and really thought we needed a ball playing 6 or 8. Tel and Takei just seem odd signings when we're stacked with youngsters in those positions. Biggest criticism, it just feels like its been seat of the pants for 2 months, no real plan or targets but at least we've saved face in the last few days.

All of the new signings are starter quality. Simons is a true game changer.
I just remember when he got injured they lost 6 home games in a row I think. Was a mediocre season when he had that knee injury. Liverpool are strong favourites for the title though.....and being awarded penalties.

Put all our eggs in the Savinho basket! There wasn't too many alternatives in the market was there? We clearly didn't fancy Lookman or Garnacho. Maybe we could have pushed harder for Semenyo or someone like Barcola but guessing we were told them deals were never happening early.
