I think that at the least (unless injuries or something outside the pitch completely derails him) he's going to develop into a Abdoulaie Doucoure type. Which maybe isn't the flashiest of names but not bad at all. Doucoure has carved out a good career for himself.

Isn't it funny how others can see it, but many in our fan base can't.
I guess he doesn't fulfil the new, shiny, cost a fortune, we're a BIG club, quotas that some of our more "challenged" fans trot out every single window.
I'm fully expecting Sarr to have a great season.
He's been linked to Spurs a lot but unless Spurs sell both Romero and Dragusin I doubt Spurs will sign him...

Madueke left Spurs as u16 captain rather than signing a scholarship (as no pathway to first team under Poch per an interview he gave a year or so later) - so will never become Club trained for Spurs

I don't think so. I've always thought highly of him but there have been periods of times this season where he's just not been at the races, so I think criticism at times has been merited. I think he'll continue to be an important player for us for the foreseeable future, especially under a good manager like Frank.
Spurs don't need 3 RBs. Yes, I know, Spence can also play LB but I prefer a left-footed to cover for the LB (f.ex. Hato, who can play both LCB & LB

Have to be blind not to see his potential. But the fan base is spursy as usual, clamouring to sell all the prospects and sign some fantasy big name and then curse Levy for not buying them back at a premium when they make it big in other clubs.
It’s not the odd goal moment that’s the issue, it’s a lot of what he does, or doesn’t, do the rest of the time.
We watch every single minute of every game whereas I doubt those others that see it, do. Don’t think anyone dislikes Sarr he’s just very inconsistent in most of what he does, inconsistent touch, passing, shooting and decision making. He’s a good squad player, don’t think he should be more than that personally.

The argument for selling him at the right (High) price is to do with squad numbers.
In CL we can only have a maximum of 17 overseas players plus 4 HG players (ie 21 players - or less than 2 players per position).
At the moment for CL as CM's we have : Bissouma (need to upgrade DM), Bentancur, Sarr, Bergvall and Gray (5 players for 2 positions), so we have one player too many for CL without being short in another position.
Sarr offers a great engine and powerful running, but not too much else right now - Liverpool want him for his potential as much as what he does now.
I'd be happy to sell Sarr for say £40m/£50m to free up an overseas place in our squad for another position where we are short of players. I'd retain Bentancur for his experience (which Sarr doesn't have), whilst hoping we bring in an upgrade on Bissouma.
To add numbers to a 'Sarr less' CM squad, I'd bring in Devine who is versatile (can play DM, CM and has played both wings for E u19) and Donley to help cover injury prone Maddison and Kulusevski - both Devine and Donley count as List B and do not take up a squad place.
Someone else responded saying he left at 16. I thought for sure he was older when he left. thats a shame.
