I can see another club swooping for Eze if we don't get a move on. Prob Chelsea knowing them.
guy is a base client and he and his family are Spurs fans apparently. Think we still have a great chance with this one even if someone else comes in.

What is most fascinating is how they make the same mistakes over and over again. It is the definition of insanity. The fans are convinced that its going to be different every time. It's been interesting to watch the downward spiral at Man United. If you go back to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the club and fans seemed convinced the problem was always the manager when it was actually bad player acquisition and contracts. Now they are convinced that throwing money at Cunha and Mbeumo will fix things. It won't.
I think with a player like Eze, you adjust to get him the minutes in the league and the CL matches.Eze is a weird one because I arguably think him and Madders play the same position best. I’m all for it, but with Tel and Odobert and of course Sonny that LW feels a bit cramped. RW is where we need the most reinforcement. He’s the quality we need, although not necessarily the easiest fit in the squad, so I understand the hesitation.
Disagree- Anges shit tactics and the high level of our average prem oppo is why we lost so much.Gray at CB absolutely was one of the reasons we got beaten so often. He played with character but didn’t have a proper handle on the basics of defending which is to be expected. There’s a reason Ange stopped playing him there the instant he had an alternative.

I'm really trying to rack my head around where Eze will fit in this current team, I suppose Frank is adaptable so can fit him in but I can't help think someone like Semenyo or Kudus is a much better natural and obvious fit for us than Eze is.
You do realise both Van Der Ven and Romero have spent lots of the last few seasons injured. Also Vuskovic is no where near ready his team last season conceeded 49 Goals last season in 30 Games. The situation it gives the impression Romero and Dragusin are off. Vuskovic has just had a brilliant spell in Belgium, this kid is already a Japanese international. They aren’t Championship loan players like Dorrington, if they ain’t playing we at least need loans to say Bayer Laverkusen or somewhere where they will challenge themselves.
If we don’t loan and Romero and Dragusin stay we have Romero, VDV, Danso and Dragusin ahead.
It's a great problem to have. I don't think we have an Eze profile at the club
Vuskovic isn't coming straight off the back of a season in Croatia though, he's coming from a strong season in the Belgian Pro League which Opta rank as one of the 8 strongest leagues in the world. As for as Takai - he comes as a best young player from J league - a league which is 23rd in world ranking but still higher in ranking than Sweden or Croatia. More than K league, J league infact has given lot more talents to Europe over the years. Ay transition going to be difficult. but for best talents they can cope better than most. All they need is right environment
I don't think it's fair to put Romero in the same class as Berbatov, Bale and Kane. He isn't that important to us. If Romero goes, we can replace him with equivalent quality without too much trouble.Decent counter point tbf
So sell Romero what are we achieving in 2 years time?

4 towers and a marquee , please make him stop Shady

At the moment, it's not entirely clear what our achievement ceiling with Frank is going to be but I think we need to be looking at major statement silverware (as our chairman indicated). It's the only thing we haven't done. Whether it'll happen in two years or not is another matter but I don't think it will have much to do with whatever happens with Romero.
I don't think he's far off. He's comfortably the only world class player we have and he won us that Europa League. He showed his dominant class in all them knock out games. His presence and calmness was the difference. If he wasn't available we would have got knocked out by Frankfurt in Germany and we wouldn't have won the final either. Top top player when he's available and motivated.I don't think it's fair to put Romero in the same class as Berbatov, Bale and Kane. He isn't that important to us. Fit in the team. You mean our team?
If you are being serious ,then seriously.
I mean our midfield needs strengthening. It's really that simple.
Eze, despite that ever present concern of doing it at a bigger club and delivering, improves our midfield and our options.
Where does he fit in exactly? Can you pinpoint his position?
All well and good buying a player of his caliber but you kinda need him to fit.
What's more is IMO we're in more of a need for a RW and a 6.
To be fair, and I'm playing devils advocate here, how do you know what tactics Frank is gonna use?
I don't which is why i originally said he's adaptable and he could well have a plan for him however I don't think he should be a marquee signing when we have other positions to fill which are more important.
