Yes but people completely ignore that we don't exist in a vacuum, who's won the most trophies since 2000?

Chelsea then City, two clubs that were bought with effective nation state wealth and change the rules of the game.

without them I'd say we would have won a lot more in the last 20 years competing with the traditional big clubs - United Arse Pool

Getting into Europe with Jol was massive.
(Also some of the best times of my spurs supporting life, losing to Seville in a semi final was the best atmosphere ive experienced)

It’s not emotions - it’s expectations. We now pay the highest ticket prices in the world, the ground creates the most matchday revenue, and non matchday revenue. This wasn’t the case 15 years ago. Where is our money going?

But we don't live in a vacuum and we didn't win.

So, either they find a way to win against the new big time owners, or they accept they are too small time to compete and sell to someone who can.

We have spent the third most on transfers over the past five seasons, behind only Chelsea and United. In net spend terms we’re fourth behind Man Utd and the two sports washing cunts.

I don’t think anyone would expect us to spend more than Chelsea, City or United. That’s where our money is going.

I don't think you know much about Spurs' history . Just a reminder: since the mid-70s - apart from a few seasons - Spurs were pretty much a midtable team.
Yes, they won the occasional domestic cups and UEFA cups but apart from that very little was achieved.
But, since you know so much, give me the names of all those chairmen who were (much) better than Levy...

Let’s contextualise this though. The difference between our wages and Woolwich or Chelsea’s is about £55m/ year.

The interest alone on our stadium is £30m. The total payment is likely to be above £55m/year. There’s what’s holding us back from competing on an equal basis.

If we didn’t have a new stadium then we would be even less able to compete. It’s still a clear net positive.
