The Spanish giants have reportedly been told that they need to pay over £100million for the Argentine to prise him from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, in what could be one of the summer's biggest transfer sagas.

And Fabrizo Romano has revealed that whilst Romero's exit is a possibility, it also depends on chairman Daniel Levy's willingness to let him leave - with the Englishman being notorious for dragging out huge fees for his players. Romano told GIVEMESPORT in his transfer newsletter:

"It’s a possibility but not something guaranteed as it depends on Daniel Levy, and we know how strong Spurs are in negotiations.
"So it’s something possible, definitely; but it has to be an important financial package or Levy won’t accept anything."

Our summer will look something like this.

PART ONE: CB

- Romero will threaten to retire, tell the world what a joke Spurs is, how Levy ain't true to their gents' agreement...but after being blocked for months by the evil dwarf's mad demands, he'll leave at the death...poor unlucky Spurs, no time to sign a backup
- Dragusin will be sent back to Serie A on loan with an option, probs to AC Milan if the Don ends up their Sporting Director
- Gentle Ben will be given a free transfer as a way of thanking him for his 10-yr stretch

Conclusion: 3 out...but it's fine, chill, we got Danso in Jan #proactive. And big Ash Phillips is now ready to step up after 2 loans in the Champo. Only one left-footed CB in Micky, who'll likely spend another 4 months out with a hammy injury? No probs, trust the process.

2025-2026 CB options: Danso, VdV, Phillips, Archie...plus Alfie Do unless he gets another loan move. If we're lucky, our Dear Leader might even splash for extra quality in someone like Dara O'Shea (the CB Robbie Keane), Wout Faes (Belgium NT like Toby & Jan eh) or Harwood-Bellis...#ambition.

I see the 100m marquee signing Dibling didn't start for Southampton again last night! This feels like the Evan Ferguson hype all over again. Talked up to be the next big thing when he's still not even ready to play for his own team never mind a big side!

You forgot Vuskovic

Our summer will look something like this.

PART TWO: Fullbacks...sorry, inverted creative WB/CAM combos

- Vamos a la playa, Sergio Reguilon. Thanks for the memories...well, those of that bird you was with. The footy on the other hand...
- Bem-vindo Lucas Pires. No, he ain't Robert's kid. It's us exploiting our special relationship with Burnley aka the Champo's Real Madrid, to sign the future Roberto Carlos and greatest Pires in PL history
Conclusion: already an area of strength for the team, but as a big club obsessed with winning, we'll go one step further by waiving unused Reguilon to bring in one of the most exciting FB prospects in the world...well, Lancashire

2025-2026 FB options: Porro, Djed, Udogie, Pires 🇧🇷 ...plus Archie ofc

Woolwich have been liked with Williams, Isak and Gyokeres for several TW's now, and Spurs have also been linked to them by the press/social media and many more. Below are a list of forwards being linked to Spurs since the January TW closed. Impressive list yes - but most of the links are click bait generated.

LF: Jamie Gittens, Jack Grealsih, Luka Stojković, Kingsley Coman, Nico Williams, Donyell Malen, Ernest Poku, Igor Paixão, Antoine Semenyo, Ademola Lookman, Subomi Dare,
CF: Harry Kane, Harry Gray, Liam Delap, Michale Noonan, Viktor Gyökeres, Jonathan Burkardt, Ferran Torres, Ayoze Pérez, Charalampos Kostoulas [Χαράλαμπος Κωστούλας], Benjamin Šeško, Dušan Vlahović, Moise Kean, Wilson Isidor, Jonathan David, Moise Kean, Marcus Thuram, Igor Paixão, Evann Guessand, Samuel Aghehowa, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Yoane Wissa, Jean Philippe Mateta,
RF: Tyler Dibling, Noni Madueke, James McAtee, Roony Bardghji, Gustav Isaksen, Francisco Trincão. Leroy Sané, Konstantinos Karetsas [Κωνσταντίνος Καρέτσας] Kang-in Lee, Roony Bardghji, Arda Güler, Bruno Bidon,

I don’t have an issue with a youth project. However given the history of the club I do wonder if we will do it properly or half arse it.

It’s pretty clear Dibling will cost about £40-50m and Delap maybe £50-60m. We also need a good left back and maybe LCB so who is young and also pretty good?

I assume midfield will just be Cordosa and Gomes with Bissouma and Bentancur out.

Swear you randomly add names on this. When has Aubameyang been linked to us since January? :deledoubt:
