Given those qualifications he should run for US president.
Why would Conte turn us down in the Summer but then accept the job in November when we were well down the league table? I believe Brendan Rogers turned us down that Summer but I don't think anyone else did.
We interviewed Ten Hag that Summer. We wanted a rebuild. Eddie Howe was the one we should have hired! We chose Nuno and it didn't work. The club panicked and changed approach half way through the season then.

Maybe money was a motivating factor but we were definitely talking to him before Nuno, he was a Paratici pick.
That Summer was a mess if you recall, our targets went from Ten Hag to Fonseca to Gatuso to Slot to Poch to Conte, even Gerrard got a mention ffs ended up with Nuno because we were clearly running out of time, think we hired him with 2 weeks to go before pre season or something.
There was no plan that Summer, we were scrambling around trying to get a manager, it got the point where anyone would do so ended up with Nuno because he was available.

How do you know if he is available or his price? It's almost a concensus on TFC he is worth £20m and my point is that posters consistently undervalue both our player's ability and transfer worth.
Yeah that Summer was a mess and its hard to know what exactly was going on behind the scenes. I'd like to think that names like Gattuso and Gerrard weren't actually being suggested and more media noise! Because if they were genuine targets then God help us lol
It wouldn't be the worst move but we would be losing two experienced players so we can't just replace them with more youth. It would have to be experienced players coming in. Personally I think its risky losing both in one window. I'd like to see us keep Bentancur and replace Bissouma
And there would still be a small clutch of jokers on here telling us be grateful we are not Oxford with that terrible chairman of they have...
Where’s Kudus on your list?
i am all aboard the Kudus train despite my misgivings. If we fail to land him then it will be like Neto when he didn’t come and we got Odobert. I never get fans who cheered for not getting Neto or Gallagher as they are better than our alternatives and what we have and there is a reason we wanted them so when we fail we end up with worse.
Kudus at least can hold up the ball, ball carry and dribble which none of our other players can do consistently so he does offer a completely different tool kit.
Best we can hope for from ENIC is Kudus, a half decent DM and one of Walker-Peters or Cirkin. If we get that it’s an 8/10 ENIC window and 4/10 window for most other big teams. I suspect we will fail though on at least one of our targets be it Kudus or the DM.

Seriously for years I assume people who only watched this blokes highlights wanted him. I've seen him on TV and live in Turin and Milan. He isn't a player we should go anywhere near. Sesko, Simmons, Oshimen, these players improve us. This boy slow Serbian is only half the player Mitrovic was he's Chris Woods not on his worldy season..

I'm not really sure. I think Bissouma is a better player than Bentancour, when his ON. Maybe Frank can help him back to the level he was when we brought him. Based on my feeble hope that Frank can do it, I'd rather we sell Bentancour. I think.
The club were definitely considering Gatuso as he was a Paritici pick.
Pretty sure Conte only decided to come to us anyway because he got scammed out of £30m
It's true mate. For once. We couldn't get an agreement with Conte initially and simply set Nuno up till Conte could come. It was a very badly kept secret in Italy. That bloke got proper stitched up. I think they actually got nervous when we started quite well under Nuno.
