Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I think there is a hypothetical here which can’t be answered .

Chelsea fans don’t care about the owners past , other clubs fans take a moral stance. I am not saying that is not the correct position . It is easy to do however.

Genuine question

if Abramovich had bought Spurs and we were winning shitloads , how many of the Spurs fans who caveat Chelsea trophies would say all our trophies were worthless. I cannot believe there would not be a big percentage that wouldn’t leave their morals at the entrance . It’s impossible to quantify because it’s hypothetical, personally I think there would be a big shift in numbers
We had a history and a glory, they had a car park, nazi fans and John Bumstead and shithouse Kerry Dixon

He’s significantly worse technically than Kudus.
Nonsense

If Garnacho can keep his head on straight he's going to the very top. Which is a fair worry but it's not as if Kudus is a model professional either.

Reports that Garnacho is desperate to stay in the PL tell me the right thing about the trajectory he wants for his career.

United are also much more desperate to sell than West Ham are.

Chelsea cheat the rules to spend more

Spurs cheat their fans to spend less
Point ..... WINNER !!!:bentancurpoint:

Our 'self sustaining model' that Airfixx Airfixx and others seem so supportive of is essentially the fans funding the football club themselves while the owners grow the asset for an eventual multi billion dollar windfall for themselves
I find no moral high ground in this 'model' of ours whatsoever. It fucking reeks of exploitation, greed and opportunism.

What about the other 14% of ownership who do literally fuck all but profit off their shares?

(maybe they should invest something into the club)

I don’t think he’s much like Adama at all.

Lots of impressive looking dribbling.... But not much to consolidate it's worth...... Familiar.

Who would you prefer we sign to boost our attack?

Name-wise..... Meh dunno..... That's not to say i don't think the quality level of out front 3 needs to be increased.

Doesn't superseding Johnson with Kudus just create a different problem at RW rather than make out starting XI better?

In simple terms I'd have sought to sell and replace Son (starting LW) & Richarlison (back up ST good enough to give Solanke a challenge).

I think signing Tel complicates our position somewhat if he's seen as LW and not a back-up ST...... I'd welcome a new main LW-er, but Eze isn't a bonafide LWer (and I don't recall us linked to anyone else on that side); whilst it feels like we have over-recruited on developing LWers (Moore, Odo, Tel, Yang).

Were I a Chelsea supporter (*shudders at the thought*) I would not spend one single second apologizing for the club's ambition and success under either recent ownership group, but be constantly embarrassed and enraged by what a bunch of racist pricks my fellow fans were.

Again; you're still fixated on the morality behind the ownership; rather the very real aspect of actual cheating and how they've corrupted the last 25 years of the EPL. For the 3rd time I remind you that's the OG premise here; not who's the bestest guy out of Roman & Lewis.

So I refine your question and throw it back to you:

If it turned out all along that we'd been cheating (repeatedly!); do you not feel it would be a stain on our club and it's legacy and undermine any silverware gained during that period?

I can only speak for myself; but I don't covet that scenario.

Norgaard is 31 and its debatable if he's even an upgrade on Bissouma. He's more consistent and has a much higher floor but the Bissouma we saw at Brighton was better than the Norgaard we saw at Brentford.

I like Norgaard and always thought he was a bit underrated. He definitely would do a job for us next season but its a short term fix and very underwhelming. Bissouma on a going day is just as good as him if not better! But because Bissouma is usually out of form, Norgaard would be a small upgrade.
It seems that Juventus wants Bissouma, do you know? How is it?

Funny how a number of you won't engage with the actual cheating element at the core of this Chav-talk.....

I s'pose you respect the sporting prowess of Ben Johnson and still consider him the true 100m sprint champ in 88?

Lance Armstrong?

I am not doubting your sincerity , I think it might be lonely on your high horse though

I don't mean to be obtuse here, but how did Chelsea "cheat" exactly?

They made a joke of the sport in the Mourinho era but there weren't rules against it at that time, and the rule-makers have bent (shamefully, but they have) to legitimize everything Boehly has done.

Now CITY cheated. Caught red handed defrauding the actually existing rules and lying about it. But am I missing something with Chelsea?

We still have our history in tact.

Meanwhile; sport-swashing only works if the people let them (both the washers and the washed) forget.

......Unfortunately far far far too many just envy them instead.

I think the more challenging question is whether being a Chelsea or City fan would change people's viewpoint on PSR-type efforts to control spending in the game.

I'm honest enough to admit it probably would, somewhat.
