Possibly Angel Gomes on a free?

Sell Porro, Romero, Bissouma, Richarlison, 1 or 2 more if needed that aren't cut for it long term if we want to kick on in order to raise the required money to finally stop being a team merely watching on every season, every time.
Geovany Quenda is left-footed but being played as a right wing-back; and this may work as a wing-back but as I RB in the EPL I have my doubts. And he's only 172 cm.
If Spurs go for him I rather see him as a RWF. And his experience as a defender could be hopefully him being good at defending and tacking back.

Tottenham ‘plotting move to sign Tyler Dibling’ after ‘discussions’

Mick Brown

Tottenham are plotting a move to sign Southampton star Tyler Dibling at the end of the season, according to their former scout.

Mick Brown, who also worked as the chief scout at Man United and Blackburn and remains very well-connected at his former clubs, exclusively told Football Insider that the 18-year-old will become available if Southampton are relegated.

Tottenham join race to sign Southampton star Tyler Dibling

Brown told Football Insider in December that both Man United and Newcastle are putting plans in place to sign Dibling if Southampton are relegated.

Now, the former scout who has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, has insisted that Tottenham are keeping an eye on his progress at St Mary’s.

I think he’s one player they will be looking to sign,” he told Football Insider.

“They’ve been watching him this season, and if they think he’s good enough to improve upon what they’ve got, then he could join the other young players they have

“They’ve got Mikey Moore, who they have a lot of faith in so they’ll have to consider whether his pathway into the first team might be blocked.

“But that’s something they’ll speak about with the manager and come to a conclusion.

“Dibling has been very impressive for Southampton this season and is attracting a lot of suitors.

“I think he’d fit in well at Tottenham because they’ve got a young core, but it will be up to them to decide whether he’s good enough for that step up yet.

“He’ll want to be playing regularly as well, which he could do at Spurs.

“If Southampton are relegated, I expect he’ll be available for a reasonable price because they’re going to be under pressure to raise some money.”

Sunderland make Jobe Bellingham exit decision amid Spurs interest

Spurs’ focus on signing younger talents to help develop in their first-team has become clear in recent windows, with Dibling the latest to be linked with the move.

Another player they have been keeping tabs on in recent weeks is Sunderland star Jobe Bellingham, who has shone in the Championship this season.

Football Insider revealed on 10 February that the Black Cats will accept “huge” offers for the midfielder if they fail to win promotion from this season.

Crystal Palace and Borussia Dortmund have also been credited with an interest in Bellingham, and all three sides have had scouts in attendance at the Stadium of Light this season.

Seen a report linking us and Woolwich with Moise Kean.

He looks an absolute beast at Fiorentina and unrecognisable from the player he was at Everton.

It's fine filling up our attack with these young players that the club seems obsessed with. But the back four and the DM need to be tough hard bastards that hate conceding a goal to anyone.

Why get Dibling when we can use Jamie Donley next year?

I'd want to see an extended period of physical durability from him before being comfortable with splashing a decent wedge of cash to get him in.

We should have blatantly taken the 20m punt on him last Jan though....... Palace will want circa 50m for him now.

#6 needs to be a beast and also your most intelligent player. Wharton looks like a Carrick type with the brain but after a really good start, he’s not looked enough of a beast to be a PL #6.

Give Gray or Bergvall a shot at 6 for the rest of the season and see what they do with it

I just watched the Klinsmann story... say what you want about Sugar but at least he tried to win. He just didn't know how and only had David Pleat advising him. But anyway, what a summer transfer window. Popescu, Dumitrescu, Klinsmann... I still think Popescu was one of the best defensive midfielders I've ever seen play the game. Reminded me a lot of the great Socrates. Never looked like he was doing anything quickly but was way ahead of the other 21 players on the field. Klinsmann was probably the best 9 in world football at the time and showed it. We won't talk about Dumitrescu. London was too much for him. Anyway, we couldn't build around them and 12 months later all three were gone.
