Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Any links this morning. Can't find a single player we are being firmly linked with... other than the usual tabloid BS of putting 2+2 together and coming up with 9.

Angel Gomes, Tel, Dibling and probably 1 bigger buy for around £60m, Hicapie maybe, after failing to get Eze and Branthwaite. Bissouma sold, Davies released, the rest still here. If you think it will be some approximation of that you'll likely save yourself a lot of pain.

Chelsea...Delap done, Maignan here we go soon, winger contacts
City...Reijnders here we go soon, Ait Noori here we go soon, Cherki here we go soon
Liverpool...Frimpong done, Kerkez here we go soon, Wirtz here we go soon
Woolwich...Zubimendi negotiating, Sesko negotiating

Spurs...dont know who the manager is yet

Have no idea what they are doing with the manager right now but I know for sure the transfer window will be a let down.

Until Levy leaves we will watch our rivals shop in Marks and Spencer’s then wait to see what we can find at the end of the offers aisles in Tesco.

Every now and then they have some profiteroles left in the meal deal and we get a VDV.

I'm probably lying to myself and giving myself false hope, but the radio silence is surely due to something bigger going on behind the scenes, in terms of a board reshuffle or takeover/investment.

It should have been done before the summer window started, but this is Tottenham afterall.

Nearly June 4th (3 days into this short transfer window)

With only Danso signed we are massively lagging behind our rivals here 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

some of you need to get a grip of yourselves

Absolute pathetic bullshit some of you are spouting about the club's inactivity in the transfer market.

From a club point of view good business has been done already

Werner and his huge wages are a thing of the past

Reguillon and Forster have been released

Vuskovic can finally join up with his new club 2 years on from signing.

Hopefully the club cash in on Sonny (he has been amazing for the club and i love him to bits but it's time to part ways)

Then whatever is going happen with the manager either way will give the clarity we need for the club to push on with whatever transfers they wish to pursue this summer and everything else doesnt matter
Stop melting

It’s the 3rd of June. People throwing their toys out of the pram because we aren’t matching mbuemo’s £250k/week demands or signing a keeper from Milan on very high wages who we don’t need. Fucking pathetic
Ha ha! 😂 ...yeah, cos the last 50 ENIC transfer windows should give us all the reassurance we need that we're gonna fill the gaping holes and use our financial might to attract the upgrades we so desperately need....🥴

A final, heartfelt message from Donna Cullen

"I think for sure clarity on the manager was really needed after the Europa league win.

If there is 1 thing we should know about Daniel Levy by now is that when a situation arises with the various managers during his tenure as chairman is when there are fan outcrys in such epic proportions of " MANAGER OUT" and the tabloids are writing the same shit day in day out
That deafening silence from within the club is a bad thing and normally ends about 2 weeks later with the manager being sacked.

Levy has never endeared himself to the Spurs fans because he plays his cards close to his chest and never publicly backs his managers in the press through good times & bad times but he is a very understated chairman and in so many ways we are lucky to have him because genuinely every decision and deal he does has the club's best interests at heart.

Growing up as a Spurs fan was easy in the 80's and early 90's with constant successes in Domestic cups and European competitions.

We would always pay the big bucks on transfer fees (especially on wages) to bring in some of our countries biggest and brightest talents Hoddle, Waddle, Gazza , Linekar, Teddy Sheringham,Jurgen Klinsmann, David Ginola to name but a few but it was also that kind of approach which almost bankrupt the club before another unpopular chairman in Sir Alan Sugar (also a fan) rescued the club financialy and in the process fucked Terry Venables out of all of his shares and the whole fan base with his self centred no nonsense approach and business way of thinking plus the whole Christian Gross as manager finished that off but he was very vocal as chairman and equally never had the fans on his side was total opposite to Levy

but he stabilized the club and very swiftly after the death threats......... sold to Levy and Enic which was great business at the time.

Levy has been a quiet operator who always drives a hard bargain when negotiating incomings/outgoings and rightly so over the years we've seen player signings such as Robbie Keane (twice) jermain Defoe (twice) Berbatov, Carrick, Luka Modric, Gareth Bale ,Van De Vaart (my personal favourite signing under Levy) ,Sandro (the beast), Moussa Dembele, Christian Eriksen, Dale Alli then you start putting a list together of the more expensive fails in this department of incomings like Rebrov, Pavlychenko, Postiga, Giovanni Dos Santos , Roberto Soldado, Ndombele, Lo Celso,Lamela and you can see big money being spunked on players with huge potential and it not paying off for whatever reason but yet Levy has always backed his managers financially whilst accruing investment in a state of the art modern new stadium & training complex worthy of any great sporting franchise anywhere in the world.

I wouldn't want to be Daniel Levy right now
because Ange in/out is most definitely the hardest decision as a chairman he has had to make on a manager

Much harder than sacking Poch (who put his job on the line by insisting for over a year for Levy to buy Tanguy Ndombele)

He has to put his chairman hat on and think with his head and not his heart on Ange

Dogshit in the league pretty much since Chelsea game 23/24 last season when we got hammered

Yet here we are Europa League Champions with the cup to prove it.

In all my years i have never seen a whole squad of players back a manager quite like Ange

My point is as a fan of a club you are the chairman of (like Levy or Sugar before him) you must be a chairman 1st and fan 2nd with all decisions and it must make it the hardest job to be president business.

It's a tough decision and only one Danial Levy can make but please from all of us can you just make a decision either way so we can all get on with our stessful being a spurs fan lives"

I agree with you the Amanda Staveley and Saudi links of a minority investment into the club has been rolling 0n for 18 months - 2 years now.

No better time to sell 25% of the club from Enic than returning the club back into Champions league football with all the modern infrastructure fully in place

Yeah kind of agree. Didn't know Mbeumo is asking for 250k!!! If he is then Utd can have him. I want us to drop 250k a week on a player but I ain't doing it for Mbeumo.

Firstly, that's just a reported demand, so pinch of salt.

Secondly, it's utterly disgusting that any player, outside of elite could not only ask but also get that much for a week's toil. World gone mad right there.

For me Mbuemo is a reasonably skilful grafter. Nothing more than that. If that's the kind of player Unitef think will take them back to the top, well it's laughable in my opinion.

We do however look absolutely constipated by comparison to a lot of other clubs.

Its dispiriting but it certainly isn't surprising, which soothes the ire.

I have no interest in any of the rumours because nobody apart from people within the club know what’s going on. The ITK know fuck all. The one thing I won’t be doing is get excited about this window. It’s going to be disappointing to a level where we are even further behind the big boys.
