I actually think the pressing game that Frank brings will benefit him hugely.
I can remember when Mourinho had us playing the structured press, before we capitulated to West Ham and he went ultra defensive, and Bentancur was elite in that. We were setting traps, forcing their defenders to pass to the player that we wanted them to pass to, and Bentancur was usually the one that sprung the trap, nicking the ball high and often setting up or scoring a goal. We've never really seen that since.
As with any player, play to his strengths and you'll see the best of him.

Playing right back next year I believe. They’re letting go Zinchenko and Tierney. So it’s Califiori and Lewis-Skelly. Sure they’ll want to move the latter to midfield sooner rather than later,
Just done a quick search. There was a particular game I was thinking of and it was the game against Leicester where we hit them for 6. Bentancur scored 1 and assisted 1. Our press was off the charts that day.
It's interesting to note that our form took a nosedive after his ACL got torn.

The thing is we just bought Tel for total of £40M. We already have Johnson £47M, Solanke £60M plus, Wilson £25M plus and we still need to improve forward line. What are we doing here? How much more money can we splunk. We have average forward line at best. Wasted so much money on poor choices. We could have eze for the money used for Wilson and Tel.
No it didn’t we gave them our greatest ever goal scorer and basically we have received some cash and Tel in return. If someone said 2 yrs ago we would sell Kane to BM and get £40M plus Tel you’d all be going ballistic. BM have done us good and proper.
