I did say let's se!!!

And if we have room for one top-dollar signing (again, we know how we operate), I'd rather target a #6 anyhow.

A Rolls-Royce 6 is going to elevate the level of our forwards more than a dynamic winger is going to elevate the level of our midfield, IMO.

But also, having said all that, just buy Eze for fuck's sake. He's absolutely worth that money, that deal will not do us wrong.

But which #6?

Semenyo’s quality. I’d be happier with him than Mbeumo. he’s a better dribbler and ball carrier. Dembele/Eze like balance with the ball but more direct and two footed. Not sure why everyone’s down on him but would be happy with the Mbeumo.

Fcuk me mate, you must have low bar.

Talent-wise and having shown capacity against the top teams, Rashford is better than all our players.

But the weight of disagreement suggests others think different, so even finances allowed, maybe not.

My view notwithstanding is that Rashford still has 2 or 3 years left at the top level. We shall see.
The problem with Rashford is that, whilst he may have 2-3 years left at top level, how many games in that timeframe will he turn up in?

Throughout his entire career to date, he actually played to his potential in what, one in six, one in eight? Worse than that?

He's on £350k/week because Utd are fuckwits who ponied up based on a single season, which was meant to be his "break out" season, but he's declined ever since.

He didn't pull up trees for Villa either, only getting 10 games out of the 16 available since his move.

Essentially, Utd did to him what they did to Sancho, paid the hunger out of him.
