Agree- I always liked KWP and thought he got a bad rap, but it remains to be seen if the club brain trust think similarly.

For me the one that really got away lately was Tanganga as a defensive RB, and to a lesser extent Skipp as a CDM.
All those plus sessegnon are championship players. They don’t have the ability or consistency to play regular premier league football. KWP did and got relegated. Skipp wasn’t first choice at Leicester.

I'm loving your enthusiasm and I hope to God you're right.

But in my opinion, we will get 1 of them at best! Levy won't change. I hope he proves me wrong but actions speak louder than words.

I’m expecting him to change now. He’s told us that anything less would be an unacceptable failure.

Don’t see why we would let him off the hook by lowering our expectations when he’s told us himself what to expect

Hope so. I'd like to see us sign an experienced midfielder like Palinha or Douglas Luiz. someone who's ready now but will probably require 200k a week wages. Then I'd like to see us keep Romero and invest big money into our attack. 2 of them players you mentioned would be a dream

I'm actually gone off the idea of throwing 80m+ at Wharton or Baleba.. I think Archie Gray, Sarr and Bergval all have the ability to become top players. Archie maybe even becomes a proper 6 down the line. But while we are waiting for their progression, why not just get someone properly experienced in who can do a really good job for 2/3 seasons. So my preference now is Luiz/Palinha. Both would walk into our team and instantly make us far better. Bentancur would be brilliant beside either of them. Basically a massive upgrade on Bissouma.

This will require Levy to bust up our wage structure a bit. Experienced players who are ready to win now usually want 200k a week!

Wham off their tits if they expect anyone paying close to 85m

Yeah he's a very good source. Surprised we are in for him tbh. Guess we are being charged 60m+ for any of Eze, Mbeumo or Semenyo so probably testing the waters to see if Kudus is cheaper. I can't see us paying anything above 60m for him anyway!

West Ham are desperate to sell him and know there is no chance anyone pays the 85m release caluse. I'd say they would be open to selling him for 60m but are hoping if a few clubs show interest then they might get closer to 70m

I would take him over Simmons and Semenyo - because he plays in a position where Spurs need reinforcements (left-footed RWF).
I like Eze, too, but he plays in the same position as OCM) Maddison & Kulu or (LWF) Tel, Odobert, Son, Yang, Moore, Johnson, Richarlison, Solomon...
Frank prefers inverted WFs so Spurs need 1-2 left-footed WF.
Mbuemo (set for Man Utd it seem) or Semenyo plus Dibling (for a fair place) would be good business I reckon)
Or maybe even Johan Bakayoko or Takefusa Kubo...but I am a bit unsure of how they will do in the EPL (and I doubt I am the only one otherwise they would have been bought by a EPL club by now...)

His attitude would be my only concern. No doubt he's a massive talent but he comes across as a bit of a bellend. He's been twerking for Woolwich for the past few seasons and Arteta has clearly gone off him. He has clearly downed tools for West Ham and just wants out. Some of his performances last year were beyond disgraceful. If he played for Man United then he'd be getting the Sancho/Rashford treatment. Frank also prides himself on a "No Dickheads" policy so imagine he'll do well to pass that test.

But apart from that he is clearly a very talented footballer and maybe he just needs a new club to unlock him again! Might be worth a punt at 50m but Semenyo and Eze are safer bets. I really can't see Levy taking this gamble!

Agree that Frank likes inverted FWds who either get in behind or play that half space cross. I’m pretty sure Kulusevski will be moved to RW for that reason.

Which means either Johnson shifts to LW or Kulu and Johnson are the RW options and we need a 10.

Given how many right footed LW we have, Eze or Simons as 10’s who can play LW make some sense to me.

Kudus or Semenyo make sense if Frank is keeping Kulusevski as a 10 or even an 8
