That's completely false! He's won more duels than other players classified as wingers, very different.

Even so, those stats are impressive, and I certainly wouldn't be against seeing him in a Spurs shirt - his skills combined with a top workrate would be great for us. :)

It's also only against teams in the top 7, so there may be other players, from 8th down, who have won more.

As you say though, they're impressive stats which highlight the work he does in both directions.

I posted before that I've liked what I've seen whenever I've watched him play, those stats just reinforce that.

What I do find funny here is that the stick used to beat Brennan Johnson is that, despite scoring lots of goals, he's "crap" because he doesn't do enough work outside of that, yet the main issue that some on here have with Semenyo is that he doesn't score enough goals!

Talk about wanting to have your cake and eat it!

Someone who scores goals but isn't completely useless when he isn't , it's not rocket science

Hard to know how to feel about that tbh. If we knew for sure our alternative options were equally as good or better than fair enough but if we go get the next n'jie instead then just pay the 70m ffs.

I'd rather simons, he MUST be on our radar for the price mentioned and a better player, more rounded. I'm not sure what wages he would demand though and that's where other clubs will do us.
