Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Club trained - but yes if if that opens up an additional CL spot for another player I’d take KWP all day, we’d find him minutes across the season and it would allow a bigger CL squad with the addition of not just him but another established player/new signing. No brainer to me
Problem is he might not just want minutes might rather play for a lesser team and be a guaranteed starter.

Imagine a world where we can rotate our creative players without being a drastic drop off.

Also I think Kulu moves back out to a RW who has the license to cut inside and play more like an inside forward.
That’s what Deli is. He’s not a 10. He’s a player who should start wide and drift in and link with a 10. His lack
of pace starting as a right winger bothers me though. We never seem fluent. Deli gets lost when he starts centrally and he can’t take it in tight space like a 10 needs to. Madders and Eze are both brilliant at it. I’ll be surprised if we signed Eze though.

I have no issue getting Eze. We still need a RW though with Johnson the only natural RW we have and the question is if we get Eze does that mean we don’t get a top RW?

Plus of course DM. For me RW and DM are the clear holes and Eze doesn’t fix that.

Can you blame levy for that or just players that just couldnt make the step up. Soldado had 4 good GS seasons in a row before we signed him.

I do agree that the guy will never change. Whats baffling though is hes happy to throw 50 -60m on players like solanke, richarlison, johnson just because they wont ask for big wages.
If you sign B-listers, they'll perform like B-listers. Vlad can't be blamed for not turning into Sergio Ramos, he just didn't have that quality. But yeah, players aren't blameless either.

Soldado was great in Spain, but it didn't take a genius to figure out he was gonna struggle at Tottenham and in the PL.

Imagine what we coulda bought with the money wasted on Ndombele, Lo Celso, Richarlison and many others.
