Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Always find it bizzare when big social media accounts make these sort of clickbait jokes. For me they just immediately lose all credibility and get blocked. I want my feed to be accurate and precise. Maybe some people enjoy these jokes but just not for me

Rejoice...the oracle on SC has spoken...

Hercules SC
“Of every hundred men ten shouldn’t even be there, eighty are nothing but targets, nine are real fighters we are lucky to have them they make the battle. Ah, but the one, one of them is a warrior, and he will bring the others back.”

What in under fuck did I just read.

I guarantee this cunt has a man bun and won’t fuck up about his hot yoga classes. He’s going into the Peruvian jungle to try Ayahuasca so he can be even more enlightened on Tottenham transfers and guess what ?

No one gives a fuck

All jokes aside, it does seem that Frank is keen to have a proper look at Phillips, Solomon and Gill in pre-season.

You wonder how much of this could be the club PR though just to raise their stock before selling them. Don't want to make it look like you are just desperate to sell them and will take anything. I've no doubt the club would be keen to sell all 3 of them if an acceptable offer came in but in the meantime Frank might give them all a chance in pre-season.

Cirkin or Walker-Peters if people like it or not makes so much sense.

We have club trained and homegrown numbers on the brink of causing squad issues and this eradicates other issues we may have in any other area of the pitch.

Last year lost Kane, Skipp even Forster leaving caused a homegrown ripple effect.

I understand why links like this get the piss taken out of them but they are a probably necessity based on squad regulations and that needs to be taken into account. I've no issue with Cirkin being signed, as long we other signings are made to maximise these kind of strategic moves.

Tenuous Eze stuff.....

Palace's part owner that was breaching the Europa League multi-club ownership rules has just sold his stake.... Meaning that Palace should now retain their Europa spot for next season.

.............Might he (and Geuhi) decide to stay now?

My guess is they'll sell one. Eze turns 27 next week so they probably feel like now is the right time to cash in on him. Guehi still only 24 and looks like he could nail down that England starting spot for the next 5+ years so can't see his value dropping anytime soon. Same with Wharton.

It makes business sense for Palace to sell Eze this Summer, hence why they are dropping their ask and happy to be paid in installments now. I think Eze will be a Spurs player by July.

Solomon has literally zero chance of being in our squad because of the HG and CT quota issue.

You’d have to take out another member of the squad to keep him.

We will take the best offer we can get tbh

Also for Eze, now is the time to make a move to a big club and spend his prime years there, and then, if the opportunity is there, cash in when he's 31/32 in MLS/Saudi, if the gravy train is still running then.

Yeah exactly. He's literally 2 years away from becoming Jarrod Bowen. He won his FA cup at crystal palace! It won't get better than that. If he doesn't move now then he might never get the move!

So only two add-ons to the team that finished 17th?
FFS!?! Why are some people on here (supposedly fellow spurs fans) always so f'kin negative and looking to criticise everything! Did you even read my post properly...?!

This squad (minus Solanke, Odobert, Danso, Gray, Tel, Bergvall) came 5th 13 months ago. I said we'd need 2-3 additional players just to be competitive (e.g. challenge for 5th), with even more required if we are to challenge for the league.

Why don't you go and so something else rather than troll fellow spurs fans all day?

Yet another muppet ignored.
