Vitinha says hi.
Not this again
After sane, Silva, sterling, etc this whole "physicality" theory has long been demolished
So, I know your reasons for wanting Romero sold but when you see the reality of what Levynomics will replace him with, does it not give you any pause?
We can debate stuff like “what if we could replace Romero with Tapsoba “ but we all know it won’t be Tapsoba.
It will be a guy like this for lower wages and most likely a lower fee.
Sometimes I think its just low fruit to say we dont spend... we spend a good amount we just buy the wrong guys
So your whole point wasn’t about adding spots or not, it was if you think KWP is a CL caliber player?
Dawg- you made the same argument as me- and you didn’t rebut any notion of needing CT to fill the roster, just count (3v4). You just don’t think Cirkin or KWP are good enough to warrant playing.
Thats fair but that doesn’t mean we couldn’t still gain “extra” roster spots by filling those spots with players you are willing to actually play.
most of our guys suffered from Ange's tactics if I'm honest. Hard to judge anyone on last seasonI have a lot of faith in Sarr too. Ok, he had a bad season, but that must be mostly down to our kamikaze tactics! Hopefully Frank can set him back on the right path
Sounds like a phil collins genesis song.
Who was several seasons late replacing Alderweireld and took a season to reach this level
You simply are unable to concede a single point.
The guy you love, Romero. Levy bought him.
Doesn't matter when, how, he did it.
You dont have to like Levy or agree with 90% of what he does but he still bought him to the club.
will be great to see Romero and VdV be in a position next season to defend like proper center backs in a proper system. they're going to show what they're really capable of. it would be madness to willingly sell him. selling romero from under this teams feet would be terrible for morale too.Yes he bought him
He also bought Bale and Modric and Berbatov, and Walker…
But that’s not the point so why would I struggle to concede it?
The point is that selling Romero will considerably weaken us because we don’t and won’t sign a player with the same level to replace him.

Spoiler alert, 2 of the 5 candidates to replace Romero if he’s sold are already at the club
The other 3 are Guehi who they know is going to get offered higher wages elsewhere, Branthwaite who is a non-passing LCB, and Nathan Collins.
That’s why I’m not up for selling Romero because you know they already see Danso and Dragusin as the replacements.
Iconic and his presence and effort meant he was influential but so sloppy on the ball compared to his stellar prime. Useful signing onethelrss and as you say still a decent playerNa mate.
Davids was still a decent player.
He was beyond his peak but still played like a winner.
Zokora was terrible.
Davids in a Spurs shirt is still iconic.
