Looked poor last night for bayern. Was in favour of getting him but seconds thoughts on bringing an ageing player back to the prem in his position. Could be a matic at United situation.

Hardly nonsense considering he is one of Franks all time favorites and he says to danish news he wants some experience on the pitch since the team is young. I think there are better options considering his age he is highly underrated though but also just signed a new contract so he wont be cheap. Morten Hjulmand or Frendrup would be better options in my opinion but to be frank i dont think TS cares much about my opinion.

Wouldn't be so quick to dismiss Johnson now that we have Frank, he wanted Johnson for ages.
Could be a genuine cheat code and could use him in a similar was to Mbuemo or if he lines up in a 3-5-2 could use him to play off Solanke like he had Wissa and Maupay playing off Toney, or could be a counter attack option off the bench.

The people dismissing Johnson are the people who have always dismissed him.
Top scorer last season.
Scored the winning goal in a cup final and numerous other important goals.
He'll be important for us again this season and he'll still get hate.
TBH I would have been fine if the club sold him when we were linked with Xavi.
Would be silly to move him on from a manager who has been chasing him and now gets to use him.
Half the 'fans' shitting on him are idiots who think he should be bombing it down the wings Bale-style, taking on and dribbling past 3-4 players.

I think he'd come. He's not starting for any other big 6 team atm. He's not yet ahead of Caicedo, Gravenberch, Bruno G,Rodri or Zubemendi. He has the ability to be better than most of these bar Rodri but he's not there yet! We are the only CL team in England that he'd be guaranteed to be a regular starter for.
This is one of the main reasons I'm not hung up on us signing a RW. I think Johnson can go up another level next year and I still hope Odobert can blossom into a top winger. Its why I'm happy for us to sign Eze instead of Semenyo.
He's just not aesthetically pleasing which makes him very underrated because he is very effective at what he does. He has always reminded me of Raheem Sterling. Tap in merchant who might lose the ball a lot but his numbers from out wide are top class.

God I really have to sit down, I actually agree with what you say.
That's if he wants to move at this very moment, I doubt he does when he's flourishing under Glasner.
He maybe not now but he will be, he's a Real Madrid/City level player.
Wouldn't surprise me if City move for him when they move Rodri on, not saying he's the same level atm but he has very high potential.
