Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Whilst its improved a notch there really havent been any stellar signings in the last 5 years either.
Isn't Micky Van De Ven a pretty stellar signing?

If we're going value for money surely Udogie qualifies? And excellent early returns on Bergvall for even cheaper?

Madders and Porro are really good players we got for fair prices.

There was not a single acquisition like that under Hitchen, we didn't even manage a Bentancur or Vicario-level decent, reliable PL player. Lucas Moura and PEH were his two best.

It's not personal opinions, it's numbers and they don't lie.

0 apps & 0 goals for Chelsea. 21 apps for Liverpool...1 goal. First PL stint for B'mouth: 42 played, 3 scored. Second stint: 71 games, 25 goals. 9 in 27 for us...after signing for 65 mil, which was ridiculous for a guy who'd only scored more than 10 PL goals once (in 7 seasons).

27 years old, 3 England caps...obviously never scored.

I like big Dom and I respect how hard he works, but if we were a serious club that genuinely wanted to challenge for top honours he'd be nowhere near our squad, let alone first XI. He's a West Ham or Everton type player really.
Couldn’t agree more. Some Spurs fans will never cease to amaze me at their ability to delude themselves into thinking we can’t improve on a player.

City, Woolwich, Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle, even Villa and United wouldn’t have him anywhere near their main striker.
So why should we? These are the clubs we want to compete with right? Our chairman said so. “We want to win the Premier League. We want to win the Champions League.”

Solanke is a great worker and seems a top bloke, but when you pay 65 million for a striker I’m sorry you need more than that.

I mean Bournemouth replaced him with Evanilson, who cost half the price, scored more goals and came from, yep, the Portuguese League, yet people were slating me yesterday for saying Viktor Gyokeres would be an upgrade on Solanke.

That’s a pretty well known scum ITK account. If you play FPL you know them because they get early team news all the time.

Don’t follow them but he’s meant to be home POkeefe used to be for us in terms of being accurate and early on transfer news.

POKeefe is shit for us these days though and I have no idea what that account is like but Ben Jacob’s and Alex crook from Tslkshite are also reporting it.

Btw I’ve had no rage wanks but that is an on brand accusation for the Levy Defense League

They’ve missed out on williams to Barcelona and want a left winger so it isn’t a huge leap to think they’d target Eze. I agree though. The account knows a few things.

My gooner mate thought they were winning the Champions League

:franklol:
Yeah but to be fair when you beat Real Madrid in the quarters with two quality free kick from Rice, it's like winning the whole thing ain't it.

Unfortunately, their board will look at what Liverpool and City have done this summer and try to compete.

We’ve hired a coach who has built a reputation from punching above his weight with peanuts and then put out a PR puff piece with 2 suits wanking each other off.

Fortunately, they will still find a way to fuck it up but it's felt from the start like this is going to be a long and shit summer for transfers.
