Will be shocked if Levy signs Kudus after getting so badly burned by nDombele. Kudus has very similar traits and will be a huge risk, but it's the easier and cheaper deal, so has Levy written all over it. Should be Kudus , Eze/Semenyo and a no.6, but not a hope that happens.

Aaron Paul He Cant Keep Getting Away With This GIF by Breaking Bad

Think they sold their women's team again after they bought it back on the cheap.

Why cant we just spend the extra £18m and get Eze? a player you know is going to be transformative.

Rather than this vague notion that Frank might be able to wave a magic wand and turn a very mid player into the real deal?
For the sake of £20m transformative vs. gamble

Its always this way with Levy
This is why we aren't a serious club

Eze doesn't want to come here. We will always be unable to buy the best players because we don't offer competitive salaries. If you want more than £100k a week you can't consider Tottenham.

Lmao similar traits to Ndombele??? No he does not, where is all this random Kudus slander coming from? 😂

I understand what you're both saying and I half agree with both of you. I just don't see it being worth our while. I agree kudus is type of player missing from our attack but spending big beans on him is a punt imo. 8 goals and 6 assists is probably the best he will ever see. Semenyo whilst being more expensive would be a much safer pirchase BUT I understand Bournemouth are asking too much so we are looking for cheaper.
I'd even argue that we would be better off going cheaper again than kudus and going for someone like bakayoko (40m ish?) instead and add any money saved towards a cm/dm.

Kudus just screams middle road that will not satisfy either end of the spectrum yet will cost alot.
He will not be a talisman, a leader, somebody that takes our attack to a whole new level adding experience. (Raphinha, rodrygo)
Nor is he an uber talentented younster that is going to become that player (barcola, doue)

And before anybody laughs at those player examples I gave then let me just say...

Raphinha with 2 years on his contract.would be the perfect type of player to lead a team like ours, and 2 years on his contract.
Rodrygo could be on the market and if so there's not many that could afford him, we SHOULD be one of them. If scum can despite having multiple players over 150k then we sure should.

Doue and barcola we both had a chance at if we went hard enough, soon enough.

Raphinha, Rodrygo, Doue or Barcola wouldn't be interested in the least of coming to Spurs.

Yes and thats why we are always goling to be mid under these owners, buy mid players and then expect coaches to perform miracles.,

I know this, thats why i dont like being gaslighted that stewing steak is somehow filet mignon.

Prefer Semenyo to Kudus. Two footed, works really hard without the ball, his underlying numbers (XG90/XA90) are way better than Kudus.
(Two of) Eze/Semenyo/Kudus + a holding mid/#6 sounds about right… assuming we can keep Romero.

Spence and Gray are fullback options.

Loan Moore, Donley, Devine, Dorrington, Scarlett (or Lankshear), and Yang to Championship clubs.

Loan (one of) Vuskovic or Phillips to a Bundesliga club.

Thanx for reminding me that half our squad needs to go out on loan to Championship sides. Yip, Levy sure can pick them.

You're correct. We had a chance at 2 of them and the other 2 we should have the financial clout to make happen as a statement. If not those examples then find another.

That's half the trouble. Levy and co have made it clear that we're shopping at lidls instead of marks and spencers and fans are seemingly happy to go along with it skipping around the shop with joy just trying to get there hands on anything at this point, just anything to make it feel like a win.

If he signs il still support him just like I do the others but it's the same old story I'm afraid imvho

Kudus, lol. Not a bad player, better than what we have, but isn’t moving any needle. He would’ve been an interesting signing a couple of seasons back but of course we want him now his stock is low while our rivals go for in form players.

Poor Frank is being sabotaged by these cunts before he even gets started.

Seems to be an opinion that’s in the minority, but I think Kudus would be an absolutely class signing, and I would personally take him over Semenyo and Eze all day.

Position wise, he’s far closer to what we need than Eze or Semenyo, who are both predominantly left side players where we are far more stacked.

I watched a lot of Kudus at Ajax and followed him pretty close when he went to the Spammers - he’s a top top player with genuine quality and under the right manager could become one of the best in the league, I’ve no doubts about that.

The issue is, unfortunately I think there’s absolutely no chance we get him. This whole thing absolutely REEKS of us humming and hawing, posturing, “asking for conditions” etc etc etc for days/weeks and then bang within 24 hours Chelsea come in and agree a deal.
It just seems absolutely unfathomable that West Ham would sell their prized asset to us of all people for anything even close to a cut price deal.

There's an entire thread for Other Transfers.

There are other threads for Chelsea, Woolwich, Liverpool, Villa and any other club you want to idolize.

You probably won't get the attention you're looking for there, but they do exist.
The thing is that you know if Ange was still here, half these posts wouldn’t even exist. Not like he’s even really wrong either, just funny that the anger is almost entirely coming from his pain over Ange.

Bowen would basically fix our front line, can shoot, can assist, can dribble, can press, can hold up the ball all to great standard. I’d take him over Mbeumo or Chuna. I’d love us to try it but can’t see it, can’t see us throwing £80-90m.
Maybe if we hadn't stupidly spent cash on Tel and that Japanese kid, we could afford Bowen.

COYS Daniel just understands "less is more" the wrong way round.
