Why's no one else going for it then? Sounds like he'd be cheaper than Mbuemo for United, very local and HG for the Chelsea stockpile, and should be easily affordable for Woolwich.

I'd say there's something not quite obvious and straightforward - not least that the manager/lange might not agree that he's worth it

More likely that paying 60m in 3 installments is the stumbling block

For us the wages as well

I imagine Woolwich let him know they were interested months back and he was always waiting for them as a priority. That’s why we clearly briefed that we were interested but never made a move. Didn’t want to set up a deal and have them come in and he spurn us for them, with all the embarrassment that would cause.

50m for Gittens and Elliot… neither have a Senior England cap…

Football is shit example 10000001

Over the past couple of years Liverpool have been incredible at selling their talent (Trent aside) - They get very good money for their players.

They've spent a shed load already, but they'll recoup at least £150m+ from Elliott, Nunez, Jota, Jones.

I have now come down off the EL victory high , i was genuinely buzzing for a long time . It would be nice for the fans to see 3 experienced , high quality and fairly prompt signings to reignite the flame . With each passing day this looks like more of the same old ENIC meaning Frank will have a mountain to climb sadly

Say our window ends with

In

Kudus
Douglas Luiz
Walker-Peters
Kota Takai
McAtee

Out

Bissouma
Richarlison
Son
Reguilon

How would we rate it?

Personally I feel we need back up to Solanke, or someone who can take over from him even.

Bowen plays on the right for them doesn’t he? Kudus to join the billion players who play on the left. Although I hark back to the days or right footed wingers on the right and left footed on the left. Makes be a footballing dinosaur I guess but having a player out wide who doesn’t have to check back onto his stronger foot every time rather than crossing instantly for runners in the middle seems to be the way forward now every manager wants to be Guardiola.
I think, when wide players check back inside on their other foot, it slows play down and everything gets bottle necked.

I don't know - they still got £10m for him with 3 weeks contract left
