Done to death but we're in a pretty unique position of coming off a season where we achieved CL football but finished 17th with our worst league position in 48 years. Both those things require massive change and investment, i mean if not now then when?

Yet here we are, going into pre season training, the half way point between last season finishing and the next one starting and the only change from the 2nd half of last season with the squad is Takei in with Forster, Reggie and Werner gone. I'd love to say we're all surprised.
