Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I recall people being equally fervent that we "just pay" the £50m wolves wanted when Nuno came here.

Now and again it's good that we don't get swept into a frenzy about buying certain players
That the club (sometimes) has the good sense not to pay over the odds for unworthy players is not an argument in favor of not paying for any players at all.

And Traore's limitations were very well known and discussed on here at the time. It wasn't 50M either.

Ally Gold said on his video last night his understanding is that Kudos is a player of interest, but all this noise is from the West Ham side drumming up interest because they need to sell. So i doubt we're really after Kudus
He also said on the Sunday night he’s heard nothing about kudus, Monday morning after every journalist is reporting he’s our top target he makes another video saying how fast things change in football. Gold only ever knows what the club want him to

He just doesnt have any end product. He's a less oily Traore
Rubbish I've never seen Traore go on a rampage and start lamping entire squads...good job really.

“Tottenham is reportedly interested in acquiring Castello Lukeba.

Although the player has a release clause of 90 million EUR, it has been agreed between Leipzig and the player that he can be sold for a lower amount.

Lukeba is said to be open to a departure.

Since joining RB Leipzig in 2023, where he became a regular starter and extended his contract until 2029, Lukeba has impressed and attracted interest from several top clubs.

Despite experiencing a brief setback due to a thigh injury, he continues to be a highly sought-after defender, with Bayern Munich and Liverpool also reportedly interested in him.

As the summer 2025 transfer window progresses, Lukeba's future remains a significant topic in the transfer market.”

But we tried to get them cheaper first.
They were only being courted by us too.
When other clubs come in we're quick to back off then claim we were never serious.
The club got scared off Nusa by fucking Brentford, even if he never signed for them in the end. The club actively runs from bidding wars; if you see us and another club seriously linked then you already know we won’t get him.
