If Eze can improve from the player the he was from the age from 24 with the right coaching and direction then I see no reason why Kudus can't.

We all remember what Eze was like 3 years ago, a much less refined version of the player he is now beside I don't think it requires that much instruction to get players to play with their heads up... Another example look at the progress of Mbuemo from the player he was to the player he is now.
Can't really say I've seen an awful lot of Kudus, but I'm wondering where this "head down" narrative is coming from. Admittedly, a HL reel shouldn't be used as definitive proof, but I did see plenty of examples in there of him actually playing with his head up, looking for a pass, with other examples of him finding that pass too.

I also find it funny how so much trust is put into what West Ham fans are saying about him. You only have to look at the wide variety of opinions on players in here, to see that a fan's take on a player is about as reliable as a British Leyland car.

Ange had no Europe in season 1. Frank will have 8 games against tough opposition in the Champions League and will not be able to rotate like Ange did in the EL last season.

Already a much tougher prospect w.r.t. league than Ange faced in his first two seasons.

Newcastle have CL as well. Villa have that bloody Thursday Sunday schedule that fucks your squad much worse than CL.

The opening round of the CL has teams that are worse than the ones we played in the EL last year. Bodo and Frankfurt are CL teams this year

fyi about 1/3rd of CL clubs we are likely to face in CL league phase were in EL last season, so there is a danger in over estimating the strength of CL.

Its probably only the teams in Pot 1 and a couple of others who are stronger than the likes of Frankfurt and Bodo who we faced in quarter final and semi final of EL (both in CL next season)

He's had one good season and one very bad season. And his good season wasn't leap out and spend 60-70m on him good either.

The doubts over him as fair. There are an element of the fanbase who will say all sorts of things when they think a player is coming here - see Timo bloody Werner.

Kudus has talent and is a decent player but is a firmly underwhelming target.

Yeah the narrative is a little forced for me, people have been saying they he has no end product and they're getting Ndombele vibes, just lazy half assed analysis using some of these West Ham fans' quotes to confirm their bias.

He's a kid that's joined a dysfunctional club, of course he's got things to work on. If he was the best LB in the PL or world, he wouldn't be here.

Be nice if some of youse could stop looking for cunt offs by distorting people's words.
I realize that i should have ended my post with a smilie. It was meant as a joke, and no, it was a direct quote of what you wrote, just with my summary of it. Anyway, I think you are wrong, he's better than that and he will be able to show it under Frank.

‘The Hammers want around £65 million for Kudus and feel they are being quite reasonable, given his £84 million release clause at the London Stadium.’'
Make a final bid of 60m plus a caravan. If they reject that then fuck em. Get vibe anyway theyre being awkward or chelsea will steam in.

My prediction is that we will bring in 3-5 new players.
Nobody will be genuinely happy with them.
Some contrarians will argue tooth and nail they're perfect and give us 8/10
We'll finish top 7.

The end.

Paratici has been out of jail for 72 hours. Unleashed I'd expect deals to start materialising by Monday. Juve, Roma, they will start shedding fat.

Oh I'm not arguing against that, but I trust any fan's judgement about as far as I can throw said fan.

I really know little about the kid, but I've seen far too many young players written off by far too many fans, after a run of poor form, for years now. We'll have to wait and see what he actually does get sold for, or if he's even sold then, if we do buy him, wait and see how he performs before judging whether the price paid was good or not.

I highly doubt he'll go for anywhere near £70M though, whether it's us or not.
