Not being cute. I find that impossible to be frank. You said that players would leave when they ask for wages outside of our structure. I can’t recall that ever happening.
Kane had given us his best for years and wanted to go elsewhere to win, granted. Moved to a huge club. Maybe, if we had paid him £300k a week, whilst supporting him with a dozen other players on £250k a week, that cost £80m each, we may have been able to support his ambitions.

We have the numbers on the left and the right wing but it all about quality. There are questions marks about all the players you mentioned plus Johnson and Deki (on the right)
I kinda feel like Son has earned the right to decide, but I worry that it means this means we won't invest in his replacement. (We should have done that last summer).

We don’t pay the wages to build squads to compete regularly for the biggest trophies. Even if a Kane develops into a top wage player, we don’t surround them with more like them so they feel they can stay and win.
I keep reading that this squad is so much better than 17th, just needs a “proper manager”. We should be chuffed that the same players are going to be with us next season.
I’m not, however, I think the vast majority of them are a complete waste of space.
Think we'll still look for someone on the right but with Son, Tel, Odobert and Moore we can forget the left.

I’m just always seeing perfectly relevant things being posted about the club, owners, players, etc that are then spoiled by some outlandish claim. There’s too much wrong right now to need to resort to saying that we have or will sell players when they ask for more money.
