It looks like levy has pulled the wool over fans eyes yet again. The "I want to win the PL and CL" are certainly not backed up by getting players in early so a manager can properly prepare for pre season.

Nothing changes at this club until these parasites leave, we are one of the top 10 richest clubs in the world but we shop at Lidl because our owners act like cheapskates. Get the players in and pay the wages it takes to do so, you malignant bald twat.

I don't think he's pulled the wool over the eyes of the fans at all. It's all too painfully obvious that he's a snake oil salesman that can't help but lie through his teeth.

He's so full of shit he's practically a human cess pit.

Whatever your interpretation of what he said.... If anyone thought it meant "spending frenzy" then they're either fucking stupid or lying to themselves cos it suited their agenda.

Really? I can't imagine you'd really mean that by the time they started playing part of the season in the UAE, then the 'Super League' concept starts up again... The Sheikhs won't care about local fans or tradition when it turns into an out-and-out cock measuring contest to see who has the better club.

People seem to be under the impression that we'd be clear for the title under qatari (or other) ownership, forgetting that it took City years to get near a title and it has been a few years and newcastle aren't near it either.

At some point the novelty will wear off for them, and the clubs will burn with it
Those two would cope better than Chelsea or villa if the rug was pulled

Son staying

Davies staying

Rich probably staying i was right in this being sentimentality fc

We ain't signing needle movers for this side

I think you are going to be proven right. Shocking really.

It's an average squad, that can't get top 8, as things stand- won't in my opinion.

Can't believe we sold that to Frank or that he jumped from the Brentford ship on such limited squad movement.

It's bizarre.

I mean frenzy sounds dramatic, but yeah really compete for players that would/should make a difference, 3-4 players that ideally go straight in the team. How else is he going to achieve it?

You can’t just pick which year you want to win the league/CL you have to go for it every window because it takes a while to build, there will be always signings that don’t work out. It’s impossible to do it scared or on the cheap.

The market is confused this summer. Everyone seems to be waiting for the top Premier League players to make deals. Not only do those negotiations drag out, but teams aren't making deals on players who might end up as 2nd and 3rd choices of those same teams. I'd rather see Spurs closing deals on international players than waiting around for table scraps. Eze, for example, is a very good player. But aren't there players close to his ability available outside the EPL and for less money? It's time to accept the market for what it is and go to where deals can be made.

How many more times; agree with him or not, Levy thinks the model that got us damn close (2nd & CL final) with Poch can work again......... He wasn't publicly declaring some change of ethos.

Again..... If one thought that they are either stupid or lying to themselves.

Does Levy not realise we have a tough pre-season schedule then the super cup to try and win. Signs davies on a 1 year contract ffs. The bloke expects us to challenge on all fronts. Getting vibe Frank is another sacrificial lamb again.

Typical Spurs signing. Levy loves them B & C lists.

According to several sites, that big lump is on less than 10k pw at Fulham. I'm struggling to believe that to be true, but say he's on 30 or 40, that's giving Levy a huge boner cause he could ship out Richy or another big earner and get the Fulham lad for half their pay packet. That 35% WTR is happening.
Could probably sell Solanke for about 30m. Not sure if this guy is much of an upgrade though. Was hoping for Gyokeres or someone of that calibre.
