Bissouma was being investigated for sexual assault, whilst that isn't good, it's not as bad as rape, sexual assault can be as minor as touching someone's leg, or giving someone an unwanted kiss on the cheek, I don't think the exact details have been released into the public domain but as far as I know it was never a rape case.

His cousin touched some girl's arse, Bissouma was under investigation for a year for being guilty by association, then the charges got dropped.

We signed him a few days before he was acquitted, I'm not sure we would have signed him if his case was serious.

Brighton didn't suspend him whilst all this was going on either, they must have know it was BS.

While I understand the sentiment let's not get too high and mighty. We signed Yves Bissouma who at the time of signing was still being investigated for alleged rape. We signed Serge Aurier after he was found guilty over hitting a police officer.

The way Arteta in particular dealt with Partey with the "all he's been through" comment is disgusting but we aren't squeaky clean and I have severe doubts that we would act as well as Everton did if we were ever faced with such a scenario.
Bissouma was NEVER investigated for alleged rape, Christ on a bike!

Years of ENIC have conditioned you into believing this. We are one of the richest clubs in Europe. Look at our fanbase at the trophy parade. We should be setting our sights much higher than "finishing above Brighton and Forest".

It's just plain fact, we all know what the club is capable of doing, BUT we all know well and good what the club actually does under ENIC.
There is no 'should be setting our heights higher' and getting angry that we aren't going for big names on big wages. There's just the reality of our situation.
we just don't do that, doesn't matter if we finish 2nd, or 17th. win nothing or win the Europa league, we have our pond that we swim in. And it's not were Man City, Liverpool, Arse and Chelsea live

We dropped a bollock by letting Madueke go didn't we...?
With Arse sniffing around, we'd have to spend upwards of £50m to bring back a homegrown player...
2 birds, 1 stone??

If Arse end up with Gorkeres, Eze and Madueke... those are all players we either could, should or DID have at the club!

This is gonna be a SLIDING DOORS WINDOW!!!!

We didnt let go. He left on his own accord at 16

So sexual assault is ok?! He was arrested and bailed. I've read some comments on this page including "Brighton didn't suspend him whilst all this was going on either, they must have know it was BS."
"Bissouma was being investigated for sexual assault, whilst that isn't good, it's not as bad as rape"
People are criticising Woolwich and they definitely have big questions to answer including Lego head for his "all he's been through" comment some people on here are saying shit that we would slag Woolwich fans for saying.
We signed Biss before he was cleared and we signed Aurier after he was sentenced for hitting a cop. We shouldn't be using this Partey fuck up to try and score points against that lot

Gabriel Jesus for Woolwich - 96 apps, 26 goals.
Richarlison for Spurs - 90 apps, 20 goals.

You’re talking Doo Doo again, Dudu.

I will check myself on the 20 million more. I can hold my hands up when I make a mistake.

I'm not going to include the first season under Conte when he played him on the wing, sometimes even on the right and completely out of position.

In the last two seasons, when he was played predominantly as a striker, he comfortably scored more than Jesus.

The people who jump to "closet gooner" type comments every time someone points out they back their coach and we don't should be banned.
They're infantile children.

But they're also, as far as can tell, in with the admin, or alternative admin logins.

Infantile child. Listen to yourself you hypocritical waste of life.

Not quite correct. Spurs signed Bissouma after investigation had been dropped (Bloom Brighton Chairman was being kept informed of investigation and any possible charges and let Levy know when dropped so Spurs could bid )

And the player was being investigated (with another man, thought to be a relative of Bissouma) for sexual assault, not rape, with CPS deciding the police evidence did not support the player actually being charged.

Partey has been charged after a 3 year investigation with rape - the club will have had a good deal of information given to them as the employer during the case and could have made a judgement that charges were highly likely and then suspended him (as is commonplace in business - suspension by the business when employer thinks employee with highly visible charges is not good for business to be associated with player. The position adopted by ManU over Greenwood).

So Spurs fully in clear over Bissouma. Woolwich caught with trousers down over Partey now charged with far more serious crimes than Bissouma was under investigation for before he signed for Spurs.

So the scum being active and ambitious in the transfer market and you must:

Otherwise you are a closet Gooner? TFC logic.

Yes they haven't won anything yet but they are a hell of a lot closer to winning major honours than we are (that wasn't the case 5 years ago).

Trophies are never guaranteed but their board at least show ambition to try and win - that's all you can ask for as a fan.

A reminder that burying one's head in the sand does not a PWOPPA Spurs make.

The point, for me, is that they aren't being "active and ambitious".

The point is that people look at something in a vacuum and apply all of the benefit of doubt and filtering at that thing - in this case, a rival club - and go on some onanistic frenzy about it being "ambitious" and "backing the manager". When it applies to spurs, it is the opposite.

For example, in this season just gone we signed 3 players in the winter window - Kinsky, Danso, Tel (maybe 5+ if you include min-hyeok and mason melia). With 2 of those players we went on to win a European Trophy. But it's a disaster and we shouldn't have signed Tel, because he's shit, and the other two aren't good enough and practically don't exist.

Woolwich, meanwhile, are 3 pts or so off the title race and need a striker - they sign no one. No business at all. They then spend 6 months trying to negotiate a fee for a player that has a release clause, then end up paying over it, then then 7 months late are merely linked to a striker - not even signing him - and all of a sudden they are a paragon of how to run a club and back a manager.

Liverpool get a new manager in and they 'back him' with a goalkeeper who won't sign for a year, and a chronically injured Chiesa. They leave their 3 best players contracts to run down, one of which leaves, the other two go down to the end of the season. They then sign a replacement RB and all of a sudden they are the best run club in, like, the whole history of football. How can a club possible be so well run?

Twitter link for spurs to a sign a player "ffs levy won't do it" "we are not a serious club" "we are a laughing stock for not signing anyone yet" (despite having actually signed 3 or 4 permanents this window, technicality or not)
Twitter link for Woolwich to sign a player "OMFG it hurts watching them be so well run" "they are light years ahead of us".

But you wrongly stated that Bissouma was being investigated for an alleged rape.

Strong suspicion Levy was banking on Chelsea hijack…

Now that Kudus wants us, he’s scratching his head for a believable way to fuck it up so he can get back to signing Dibling for 40m on 60k pw
West Ham stuck to their price , all Spammers fault . Daniel was expecting them to move the goal posts, suddenly he was confused by them not moving . How can Levy work on deals where people move the goal posts or they don’t move the goal posts .

It's Pathetic isn't it.

And their logic is totally flawed. Why would any Gooner be on here voicing frustration at their ambition and showing even more frustration at our lack of it?

If anything, the closet gooners are the ones who seem happy for us to muddle along as they widen the gap further and further. Makes sense when you think about it. Hmmm. Perhaps there are a few infiltrating this forum after all

There's a reason why rival fans sing 'Daniel Levy, we want you to stay "

I wouldn't waste your energy getting vexed about Woolwich. they aren't our competition, they are trying surpass Liverpool and man city.
Aston villa, Brighton, Forest and Newcastle are the clubs we are trying to finish ahead of. When you remember and accept that, our transfer activity and targets make more sense

:levywtf: "The New multisports and entertainment awena will be a game changer and allow us to compete with clubs like Bwighton and Fowwist"

Wow, so you’re going to just completely erase something that actually happened in reality just to prove your point. Fair enough then. :ledley:

Your non sensical waffling is made all the more hilarious when you factor in Richarlison played as a left winger for the majority of Anges time here too.
