Levy has a loyalty card at Poundland
You are giving me ideas.

Chairman on a Budget

Takai signed, the fee was low,
Ben stays on — no need to go.
No flashy deals, no diamond spoons,
Levy drinks in Wetherspoons.

He skips the brands, avoids the frown,
Gets loyalty points at Poundland town.
Aldi’s aisle is his domain,
Where bargains flow like London rain.

And come Noël, with quiet knocks,
His wife unwraps… another pair of socks.

The last line is so perfect , I can’t help but think this is the music score to the next Amazon documentary. At Home With The Levys

Another day another peom! The poems keep on coming until we spend 50m+ on a player!

Levy Shops at Aldi

Takai in, for half the fee,
No gold-plated VIP.
Ben stays on — it’s cost-effective,
Levy’s plan? Purely selective.

No Gucci deals or spending benders,
He gets his signings from the enders.
While rivals blow cash wild and loudly,
Our chairman shops — you guessed it — Aldi.
We’ve got Levy
Daniel Levy
I just don’t think you understand
He only spends 5 mil
He’s cheaper than Lidl
We’ve got Daniel Levy

Takai the piss if he’s the Romero replacement

We've got Van der Ven, Danso, Dragusin, Vuskovic, Phillips, Dorrington, and Takai as CB options after Romero.

We've got seen them play in a non-dumb-as-fuck tactical setup yet for defenders, so if VDV's hammys get a respite then we'll be stacked with at least 2 very good CBs, never mind a ton of high potential younger ones.

Romero only needed a 'replacement' in the Ange system, and - let's be honest - for a half a season or 2 weeks either side of an Argie match

You are right, let’s sell Romero and rely on those CBs to win us the PL and CL

Franks system is so much better he can replace a world class cb and functioning medical team with his adaptable tactics. That’s how much difference tactics can make

Now I have Chairman on a Budget to the tune of Girlfriend in a Coma stuck in my head…

Seems like Eze to Woolwich isn’t a stick on going by what Ornstein’s saying. With the Gyokeres deal, they’ll need to get money in for players before they can go spending another £60m+ on Eze.

Should we take advantage of the uncertainty and make a move now before they can commit to it?

I thought he looked alright when he came on for us. Never really got a chance.
Agreed. Maybe he was a bit too raw but you could see why we went for him as a prospect. The injury was also prime unlucky.

Hopefully he has a decent loan and if we don't sell him back to Argentina maybe we can try loaning him out to a smaller European league next time around.
