Listened to Harry on talksport this morning. Having spoken to people at West Ham he's heard decent player on his day but alluded to other things outside his technical ability that might not be convincing (it sounded like an implication of mentality).

He's not going to consistently elevate spurs.

But he might cost less in wages and fee, so there is that

One player I was a bit gutted we didnt get a few years back was saido berahino from WBA. I reckon he would have been a great player for us. He desperately wanted to join us and had the hunger to do well for us. WBA chairman was a cunt not letting him go. Ruined his career.

It was indeed glorious and Levy had the patience with Ange to see it through and the club treated it with the pomp and circumstance it deserved, all to Levy's great credit. I thank him for that, sincerely.

A lot of ghosts got exorcised that night. And it gives the club a new platform and an opportunity to kick on, and I was encouraged by ambition to go further being so publicly delivered as an explanation for the hard decision to change managers.

But if the business model doesn't change, we're still trapped and sinking in competitive standing, and there has never been any justification for the business model being what it has been.
