This is gonna make me sad.... I can feel it!

REALLY wanted us to go all out for him, and and hanging onto the idea that if Frank doesn't want him, that's good enough for me...

But I wanted him, so Nerrr!!!

Who says Palace are gonna accept that?

That said, I'd love to hear the 'just pay the money' crew say about this especially for a club who are meant to be doing it the right way and backing their manager...🤔

Because he's World class.

FFS

LoCelso, Gazzaniga, Foyth, Fazio, Lamela, Tarrico all played well for Spurs.

I've edited out your reach back to the 1970s and 80s because it isn't at all in the scope of "recent years" (I'm assuming, age wise, that might not have been obvious).

Suggesting that any of those players quoted above - bar the odd now-and-again from Lamela - "played well for Spurs" is an incredible stretch. Lo Celso and Fazio are easily among the worst signings we made under Poch

Lo Celso often played well.
He was injured a lot and under used .

His signing made perfect sense
Technically good creative midfielder - a rare breed.
He did not benefit from the manager changes.
Not a Conte player - who never plays a creative midfielder.
And not a Mourinho player.
Ange liked him and then didn't. There might have been an attitude problem with him, I suppose

Come on "one day I want to play in Spain" sending messages out about the old manager just as we confirmed Frank. Tweets about the owners and medical team. Prioritising his country over his club time and time again.
If you can't see that he wants to go I don't know what to say

You missed the other ones where he says how much he loves this great club and how we need to go forward together?

Or that time he captained us to our biggest trophy in 41 years whilst carrying an injury?

You carry on seeing what you want mate. I’m still waiting here in reality

Who has turned on him? Think most fans just don't want a player who doesn't want to be here. If he wants to knuckle down and get on with it I'm all for him staying but if he wants to go ? get the best price and get someone in who wants to play for us

Don't let facts get in the way of people's hyperbole!

Now i know why we are going for Kudus instead of Eze

West Ham need to pay £40m to the banks by 15th July

The little scurine is all over this

Always opportunities over quality

As soon as there were reports that West Ham had PSR issues and were looking to sell Kudus for under his release clause, I knew he’d be the one we’d be going after.

Every other attacking option we’ve been linked to (Eze, Mbeumo, Semenyo), you were gonna have to pay the market rate for, whether that’s because of interest from other clubs, or because their club don’t need to sell.

It’s never about what we need or getting the best player possible in the positions we need. It’s about who the little skinflint feels is most vulnerable to wrestle a deal out of. It will always be this way under him, we’ll never ever get the best players available to us for this reason.

It’s the same reason I just know we’ll end up signing Douglas Luiz from Juventus, they’re desperate to get rid and are willing to let him go for about half of what they paid last summer, and even at that he’ll be desperate to haggle them down into some loan to buy deal with silly unachievable objectives to get the full price they’re after.

His cock will have grown about 4 inches when he heard Lyon are in financial bother, you just know we’ll be signing one of their players.

We need at least 5 players to go straight in the first 11 to get anywhere near being “ very good “

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

What ? One or two signings from very good to contenders ?
😂😂

Mate, we are nowhere near being “ very good”. We need at least 5 players to go straight in the first 11 to get anywhere near being “ very good “

We are extremely average. Frank will do very well to even get us 8th this season. If you are expecting anything beyond that you are in for a very frustrating season
I'm talking about that time we signed nobody in 2 consecutive transfer windows

Only seen him play once but he looked a natural player. As in had a good touch and looked extremely comfortable with the ball and scored 2 nice goals IIRC.
But it was for City against lower league oppo, so hard to tell really.

Then again, some of our players looked like pub players against an ACTUAL pub team last season.
Clearly very talented, but also doesn't seem to shy away from the hard work and seems like a level-headed guy, which is probably why Carsley made him the U21 captain.

If you actually bother to read his post and what preceeded it, you'll see he's talking about the Poch era, not now. So you might want to keep hold of your laughing emojis for your own failings. ;)
