Funny how opinions can vary. Two seasons ago he was one of the best players in the league and I couldn't believe how good he looked, and I couldn't believe after being linked when he was in Holland, that we dropped the ball and missed out on him. Last season he wasn't as good, but his ability was still there for all to see.
Also, his attributes are exactly what we need in the squad.
I think he's an excellent signing. If Frank can work his magic on him, the guy has world class potential.
