I mean, theoretically, maybe. That sounds very tricky to enforce. My knowledge of contract law is all American, I can't speak for y'alls powdered wig-ass legal system.

One big question in all of this, I would assume player contracts are subject to some form of arbitration by the Premier League, FA, something other than a normal courtroom?

I agree. If we make a big purchase at cm then 2 of our current will need to make way. I think bentancur stays so that would suggest both bissouma and sarr. Sarr I feel is at risk of not fitting in with Frank which is a shame but happens.
Or maybe conte wants bentancur and the deal is too good to turn down?

Likely Bentancur leaves, he only has a year left on his deal and hasn't agreed a new contract yet, sarr re-signed last year and has a bigger upside.

A lot of people have been sleeping on Sarr actually, think this is gonna be a massive season for him personally.

That would be nice.

Personally I think the weird and impossible asks of Angeball on CM's flattered Sarr and punished Bentancur beyond their underlying qualities as players.

"Be everywhere on the pitch" is a nice-to-have in any tactical system, but Bentancur has more in his locker than Sarr in areas other than sheer mobility.

I think the opposite. We will see bentancur being a major player and sarr will be found wanting with the way frank likes his team to play.
Sooner or later we are going to have to decide which of the younger crop of players are going to make it and which ones unfortunately won't and look to move them on for decent fees.

Bissouma
Gray
Bergvall

Given the size of our squad and registration issues, I don’t see us buying another midfielder without selling. Bentancur was name dropped by Frank, the others are young and recent signings… so Bissouma has to go at a minimum before we buy.

Bissouma is probably gone. Bentancur, Sarr, Bergvall, MGW and Sarr are not specialist 6’s. We have tons of box to box players. It’s clear the club wants a top draw 6.

Or we do the smart thing and get rid of the older ACL crocked player. Both Bentancur and Bissouma should be sold. Gibbs-white and Hjulmand added.

We will, generally cream always rises to the top in these circumstances and I don't think we've seen anywhere near the player that Sarr is so far at Spurs.

Well yes of course but its not always that simple. I get the feeling frank is a big fan of bentancurs and he suits what he wants from his cm's. Also he's not old nor crocked?

Like it or not bentancur is a big player, a quality player and experienced at the top level.

Also I get the feeling the club would want to keep romero as happy as can be.
 
Bissouma has said he wants to stay. He can refuse to leave. If TF wants him gone he needs to tell Bis that he won’t be playing much and won’t be in the CL squad and will only get a game if there are multiple injuries or in cup games.

Frank name dropped Bentancur in his interview when he joined as a player he was looking forward to working with. Bentancur isn’t being sold unless he wants out.

Hope Frank has a good plan for Sarr.

Feel like he's still a bag of untapped potential that Ange never knew how to get the best out of.

With the way he covers ground he should be a good shield in front of a back 4.

Buy Baleba for 60 odd mil.

Sell Sarr to Brighton for 30-40...with a first refusal type clause & buyback price of 50 valid for two years.
