If the Saudi project can't retain Isak it is much, much weaker than everyone expected.

With three years left on his deal SURELY he's not for sale at any price.

Depends, I can see Liverpool going big for him next year, probably record breaking numbers.

Everyone has a price hence why I think Newcastle are going to Ekitike as Isak's long term replacement.

Everyone does have a price, but Isak is THE player for Newcastle, 25 years old, and the project purports to be challenging Liverpool for the title, does it not?

Remember when we were worried the Saudis were just going to buy the league?

In isolation its good we spending cash. But the rest of the prem is going nuts in the market too.

So we still as far away as every.
We can't control what other club's do, we can only control our destiny.
If the club get MGW over the line and, a DM and potential LB, they will have spent in excess of 200m.
That's a very good spend along with a squad that would normally be top six, last year was an anomaly let's face it.
All we can do is, keep investing in good quality and then, at some point we will get a chance when one of the others start to tail off.
We just have to take advantage when it does happen.

You’re probably right but you can only field 11 players. If we can build a very strong 11 with a decent bench then it comes down to good management and a bit of luck.

Personally think to fight at the top end we would need a window of Kudus, MGW, Top draw 6 (Baleba, Wharton, Stiller etc), left sided player who can cover LCB and LB and if Richy goes a decent striker.

Depends if Isak sees that, if I was his agent I'd be getting them out of there especially if Liverpool are after him, they're not title challenging material and if even if they were for one season they'd never sustain it.

Everyone seems to have their strikers now apart from Liverpool, the only other place I can see him move to is Barca but they won't be able to afford him.

I thought Liverpool last season massively lacked a central CF. Jota (RIP) was a great little finisher, Nunez is best in wide channels. If Liverpool had a CF who was elite to play off just think of the damage Salah and Wirtz could do. A game changer for them, I would be shocked if they didn’t get one.

Don't even want to think about how much damage they'd do with Isak/Salah.
