Then why question my initial post with we should be aiming for 75+ GF and that.....so your not really proposing a big season are you?
Because, again, you were forecasting that we should be able to score 65 goals...the root of my point is that 65 shouldn't be the aim, but the minimum expectation. And, honestly, if we only score 65 I would be significantly disappointed.

You stated it as though it would be a laudable accomplishment. These players not scoring 65 would be a poor season by our (and their) recent standards.

Reminds me of the Non League Paper headline some years ago

hmm maybe you are right, that looks to be the case unfortunately. but i think he deserves the chance with proper wide players first, lets be honest his service since hes been here has been shite. he does look like he lacks that aggression when it comes to banging in goals, but none the less he deserves a fair crack with proper service.
Solanke is definitely another player we paid well over the top for. He's a mid-table forward, not a player who will help you get top 4.

Yes it is. Stadium naming rights are a dog shite investment, no one really has any interest in that market these days. £25M/yr would make it by far the most lucrative deal ever, for a stadium that is many years old now and so gaining traction with a name would be difficult.

Everton had to sell their naming rights to a law firm for £5M/yr. We'd be lucky to get £10M/yr, at that rate its not much of a benefit in the grand scheme of things vs. the value of controlling and promoting the brand. At the end of the day, currently, any value a sponsor could expect to derive from the naming rights is going directly to the club in terms of promoting Tottenham Hotspur globally.

Also, a 20 year contract is a terrible idea. Inflation renders what is an already a minor benefit completely moot within 5-7 years and then you're just stuck with it for over a decade.

"Also, a 20 year contract is a terrible idea"

It's guaranteed money FFS

The Tottenham name recognition by keeping the name Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could be worth more than £25m/year commercially, for all we know. Once it gets to a point of diminishing returns you sign the naming rights deal. Levy might be a lot of things, but definitely not one to leave money on the table.

Why would any company pay Levy 25 million a year to call the stadium something that has nothing relative to do with their business?

FFS mate think about what you posted.

When it comes to MGW i think we should wait until Forrest sign a replacement and then move on to another player, Simons for example.
