He's basically an even more athletic right-footed Kudus.

He is a very good winger - if either Liverpool or Arse gets them he's an upgrade on Diaz and definitely Marteinelli. But he's not near world class or 100m player territory. He's a good supporting attacker, not a star. The guy has 7 in 33 for Brazil and 32 in 172 for Madrid.
OK he's a wide player but his creative numbers aren't all that either. He's very hard working and imo would hit 10+ goals 7+ assists in the Prem but nothing earth shattering.

Maybe, but I'm not seeing the star others see. I see a player who has moments in him but isn't quite at the level of his more talented teammates hence why he is in this position.
I could be wrong and he could be another Sanchez but I've never quite seen it. I'll be gutted if *they* get him because he's a huge LW upgrade but 100m+ would be very representative of how mental the market has got imo. None of his seasons thus far justify it even if he has looked a lot better in flashes on the left.
