Well the money spent on the two could have been spent much better if that is the case. The Tel deal I feel has really hampered us as we still need a quality left wide player.

He would like to play more football at a guess?
See Rafa VDV situation, harder to get in the side with so many class acts e.g. Mbappe, Vinicius, Diaz, Guler, Endrick etc.
That's a madness. Vini looks a bit bored if anything, but Vini still be amongst the world's very best. Rodriguez has never been that. Not yet, anyway

Not with that attitude
I swear half the Rodrygo hype is just because Brazilian + plays for Madrid.
He is a very good winger - if either Liverpool or Arse gets them he's an upgrade on Diaz and definitely Marteinelli. But he's not near world class or 100m player territory. He's a good supporting attacker, not a star. The guy has 7 in 33 for Brazil and 32 in 172 for Madrid.
OK he's a wide player but his creative numbers aren't all that either. He's very hard working and imo would hit 10+ goals 7+ assists in the Prem but nothing earth shattering.
Vini is an egotistical maniac that doesn’t get along with anyone and doesn’t press.
What. You mean like Burnley, Brentford and Palace?Clocks ticking obviously but there's 25 days until the Premier League starts, everyone can reference Woolwich, City and Liverpool but the teams we're realistically competing with this season have barely strengthened at all
Pretty much all of them are better than what we currently have IMO.
Your explanation and others’ make sense.I've seen others offer explanations, which are all valid, but I'm sure the biggest one is that his best position is as an inverted left forward, and he has ViniciusJnr and Mbappe who also prefer that position (even though Mbappe has been forced to play centrally in his first season).
This is very true, very true indeedThey won’t have to go to court unless MGW wants to take them there. Only the player can end the stalemate.
